Welling was taken into custody by Yreka police in an Arby’s parking lot just after midnight Jan. 26 in the northern California city. He was booked for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level at or above 0.08%, according to TMZ, which first reported his arrest. He was released from custody a couple hours later, according to sheriff’s department records.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is a prominent superstar with a Pan-Indian presence, hailing from the Malayalam film industry. For some time now, rumors have been circulating about a period action drama directed by S. Mahesh, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. However, as of now, nothing has progressed beyond the discussion phase.

Currently, Prithviraj is focused on the post-production of his third directorial project, L2: Empuraan, which is the sequel to his debut film, Lucifer. Once L2: Empuraan is wrapped up, he’s expected to return to acting, starting with the thriller Nobody, directed by Nissam Basheer, known for his work on the Mammootty-starrer Rorschach.

After that, according to rumors, Prithviraj will be shooting for both Kaaliyan and SSMB29 simultaneously. The shooting for Kaaliyan is expected to begin in May 2025. SSMB29, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu in the lead, will feature Prithviraj as the primary antagonist.

Constantine was released in 2005 to mixed reviews, and while it's unclear if the sequel will ever happen, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about it. The Constantine sequel was announced to be in the works in 2022, but it remains to be seen whether the project will move forward. With DC currently focusing on establishing a new cinematic universe overseen by James Gunn, projects like Constantine 2 would only work as Elseworlds stories.

Constantine may be one of the darkest fantasy movies of all time, incorporating horror elements well-suited to director Francis Lawrence. This movie only has 46% on Rotten Tomatoes, despite being one of the most engaging, well-conceived, and original action and horror flicks of the 2000s. Based on the DC Comics character, the movie took a lot of creative liberties but delivered a highly entertaining mix of stylized violence and character-driven drama.

The nominations won’t be announced till January 9, but the Art Directors Guild has found a host for its 29th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards. Actress Rachael Harris will command the stage for the February 15 ceremony at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.
