Actress Disha Patani has remembered late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as their film ‘Ms Dhoni: The Untold Story’ clocked seven years in Hindi cinema. Released on September 30, 2016, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is abiographical sports drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey.

It is based on the life of star cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film stars the late Sushant as Ms Dhoni, along with Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher.

The film revolves around the life of Dhoni from a young age through a series of life events.

Disha took to Instagram on Saturday evening, where she posted a clip from the film and wrote: “Grateful for this beautiful journey and my first film in Hindi cinema. Indian filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s latest effort is Disney+ Hotstar India’s explosive new series “The Freelancer,” an “incisive look” at the world of Islamic State (aka Isis).

The thriller series, based on the bestselling 2017 book “A Ticket to Syria” by Shirish Thorat, is produced by Friday Storytellers and directed by Bhav Dhulia. It follows the rescue operation of a young girl held against her will in war-torn Syria.

New Delhi, Aug 20 (Ians) Actor Navneet Malik, who will be seen playing the negative lead in riveting thriller series ‘The Freelancer’, has opened up about the challenges of Bollywood, and how he encountered rejections on his path to success.

Navneet has faced his fair share of setbacks despite his talent and successful appearances in projects like ‘Heropanti 2’, ‘Love Hostel,’ and the song ‘Jaaniya’ with over five million views.

Facing the tough reality of Bollywood, and reflecting on his journey, Navneet revealed: “I left my stable life as a civil engineer and the comfort of my home to chase a dream in Mumbai. Every day, I faced auditions with hope and uncertainty. My bags weren’t just filled with clothes; they carried my dreams and determination. Buses and trains became my companions, taking me through long journeys between scattered auditions across the city.”

While each rejection left its mark, Navneet stayed resilient.

From being an assistant director to directing a star cast including legendary actor Anupam Kher and Mohit Raina in a large scale production with Neeraj Pandey in ‘The Freelancer’ has been an accelerating career growth which Bhav Dhulia is surely grateful for.

Speaking about his experience of working with Neeraj, Bhav said: “This is our second collaboration and I was offered to direct ‘The Freelancer’ by Neeraj Sir, as soon as I finished the shooting schedule of the previous show I was completely taken aback by the unique story and the grandeur of the series.”

“It was an absolutely new world for me and the best chance to break through the genre I had worked on earlier. The experience of shooting with sir was unique because it was an international large scale production venture the likes of which we haven’t seen before for a web series,” said the director.

Actor Mohit Raina, who will be seen as the lead in Neeraj Pandey’s riveting thriller series ‘The Freelancer’, has heaped praise on his co-star Anupam Kher, saying that he feels lucky to get the opportunity to work with him.

New Delhi, April 23 (Ians) Twitter’s blue tick saga has taken an interesting turn after celebrities who are no more, including late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, late Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman and late American singer Chester Bennington, got their blue tick restored.

A statement explaining the restoration of the service for the celebrities who passed away said that the “account is verified because they are subscribed to Twitter Blue and verified their phone number”. However, it is not clear who paid for the service.

The last activity seen on Rajput and Bennington’s Twitter account was in 2019 and 2017 respectively.

Bollywood star Vidyut Jammwal is debuting as a producer via his Action Hero Films outfit and is teaming with Reliance Entertainment and T-Series for espionage thriller “Ib 71.”

Jammwal, best known for his “Commando” action film franchise, will also star in the film as an Indian intelligence officer deployed in the run up to the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Working from a real incident, the film is based on a story by Aditya Shastri and a screenplay from Storyhouse Films Llp.
