Interestingly, not only did no bitterness ever grow from it, but they pushed each other to become the best versions of themselves constantly. As such, his missing his late friend comes as no surprise. However, there is one incident regarding a movie that he still cannot forget.

Richard Gere is back with his second-ever major TV role in The Agency. The Golden Globe winner first broke out with the three back-to-back hits of Days of Heaven, American Gigolo and An Officer and a Gentleman between 1978-82, later becoming renowned for both his dramatic and romantic leading performances, including his award-nominated turn in Pretty Woman and the Edward Norton co-starring Primal Fear. More recently, Gere has largely been seen in a variety of acclaimed indie movies, including the 2016 political drama Norman.
Gere stars in The Agency as Bosko, the Station Chief of the CIA's London field office who has a storied past in the agency for having worked on a variety of undercover assignments in the past, including an eight-year assignment. Did the Season 2 finale of Daryl Dixon just suggest a safe haven for the humans from the walkers? Richard Gere began his professional film career in 1975, appearing in the crime thriller "Report to the Commissioner." In 1976 and 1977, he secured notable supporting roles in "Baby Blue Marine" and "Looking for Mr. Goodbar," before securing his first leading role in 1978's "Bloodbrothers," a coming-of-age drama about two Italian-American brothers living in the Bronx. That same year, Gere appeared in Terrence Malick's dreamy "Days of Heaven," more or less securing him as a permanent Hollywood fixture. Gere has been working steadily ever since, using his affable on-camera charm and approachable good looks to remain one of the industry's most reliable movie stars. His high-profile marriage to model Cindy Crawford in 1991 only added to the actor's status as a sex symbol.
Gere often takes roles that require more razzle-dazzle than deep acting range, but Gere has been nominated for Golden Globes and Emmys, and won a SAG Award, so he's no slouch as a thespian.

Redditor rj_sherbs was apologetic even as they asked the question to the r/Seinfeld subreddit. “Sorry if this has been asked before,” the post read, but “what do you think Newman’s first name is?”
Cue the smart-ass replies!
As Newman’s first name was notoriously never revealed on Seinfeld (or was it? — see below), the question prompted plenty of half-joking answers. The most popular? “Postal Employee Newman,” the name given by a supervisor who catches Newman warning Kramer to walk away from his plan to cancel all his mail. Of course, “Postal Employee” is a title or honorific, not the monicker bestowed by Mama Newman.
“Hello,” as in “Hello Newman” was also a popular response. Again, clearly not his given name but to the uninitiated, a sensible guess.
Plenty of internet comedians suggested first names already taken by real-life Newmans, including Paul, Randy and Alfred E. Several others...

We’re getting a first look at the late John Amos in NBC’s Suits LA pilot in a just-released episodic photo. Amos, who died at the age of 84, was cast in a guest-starring role in the pilot from Aaron Korsh, which was picked up to series in July. It is the iconic actor’s final role.
In the pilot, Amos played himself as a client at Ted’s (Stephen Amell) law firm who also has a longstanding friendship with Ted. While Amos’ guest appearance was not conceived as part of an ongoing arc, we hear there was a potential for him to recur. He will now be seen in the pilot only, which will air when the series debuts later this season.
NBC has yet to make a decision on whether the episode will be dedicated to Amos.

The following discusses domestic violence and abuse.
The apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead doesn't allow many relationships to prosper for long, due to the deadly nature of living among zombies, better known as "walkers." Very few romantic and platonic relationships officially make it, past a few seasons. One friendship that soared from Seasons 1 to 11, all the way to a spinoff is Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. Daryl and Carol are the true definition of "opposites attract," at least in the first few seasons of The Walking Dead.

Deadliest Catch fans complain that Discovery Channel started scripting the show too much, and now, they are trying to pinpoint when that started happening. Actually, many viewers claim they are done with the show as some scenes are so badly acted they become unbelievable.
Deadliest Catch Become Too Fake?
Not all viewers believe that the scenes of the crabbers in the Bering Sea are fake. For a few of them, the added drama gives something extra to the show. However, they are few and far between on social media. Plenty of others hate what they think is way too much scripting.

Daryl Dixon's 15-year run in The Walking Dead universe solidifies his status as an iconic character, surpassing even Rick Grimes. Norman Reedus' portrayal of Daryl Dixon marks a significant acting streak, showcasing his commitment to the role from the start. Despite initial plans, Daryl Dixon's popularity led to his survival and emergence as a central figure, challenging Rick Grimes' protagonist status.
An impressive 14-year Walking Dead actor streak highlights that one character may be the franchise's true protagonist. Since the show began in 2010, The Walking Dead has been full of interesting and memorable characters, but the series has always had a rotating cast. Throughout the main show's 11 seasons, there were naturally plenty of big deaths and departures, meaning some of the franchise's biggest characters didn't make it to The Walking Dead's finale. Even the franchise's lead character, Rick Grimes, departed the show in season 9, meaning his run of consecutive appearances was broken.

The Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon season 3 could make 2025 Norman Reedus' biggest year yet. Reedus already has 2 massive projects lined up for 2025, including a Death Stranding sequel. Daryl Dixon's track record suggests that season 3 might be released in 2025, building anticipation.
Although there has been no official confirmation, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 looks inevitable, and it could make 2025 the biggest year of Norman Reedus' career. He began acting in the 90s and has forged a successful career ever since, but if Daryl Dixon season 3 were to happen in 2025, it would easily be Reedus' biggest year yet. Daryl Dixon was officially renewed for a second season which is set to air this summer, and there have been plenty of rumors about season 3, with showrunner Scott Gimple even mentioning it.
Despite the rumors, there has been no concrete confirmation, but all signs point towards Reedus reprising his role as Daryl Dixon for the 16th consecutive year.

Formally known as the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, the Theatrical Motion Picture category for the PGA Awards has historically been an indicator of Best Picture winners, with 15 of the previous 20 winners going on to win the top title at the Academy Awards.
“Killers of the Flower Moon” director and “Maestro” producer Martin Scorsese was honored with the David O. Selznick Achievement Award for his producing work over the last half-century.

“Oppenheimer” continued to steamroll its path to Oscar glory on Sunday night, claiming the top prize at the 2024 Producers Guild of America Awards.
Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Chuck Roven and their producing team took home the Darryl F. Zanuck Award, which recognizes excellence in producing for a theatrical feature film. The prize has become perhaps the most important precursor to nabbing the Academy Award for best picture.
Thomas told the crowd that many may not know that Nolan, the film’s writer and director, excelled most in his role as producer: “He’s absolutely brilliant, we’ve worked on 12 films now.”
Nolan himself noted that he and Thomas had never won the Zanuck award, despite previous nominations. “Every time we’ve been in this room, we’ve felt so much support,” he said.

A talented ensemble cast has come together for espionage comedy thriller Role Play. And now we have a trailer.
While we’re looking forward to a shiny 4K release of James Cameron’s True Lies as you can bet that it’ll look the business, it’s fair to say that a contemporary viewing of the film won’t age as well in every degree.
Still, as a product of its time, it will be a hugely enjoyable watch… but if you’re looking for a more contemporary take on the ‘secret assassin comedy thriller’ genre, look no further than Role Play.
Bill Nighy and Connie Neilsen have major supporting roles while David Oyelowo and Kelly Cuoco star.
Selma star Oyelowo, and Kaley Cuoco – best known for her work in TV’s The Big Bang Theory – could make for quite the pairing as the film centres around a married couple...

Daryl Dixon is heading to the city of love. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spinoff of The Walking Dead franchise on AMC, giving the most popular character on the flagship series another chance to shine. This time, he's left without his partners in crime on a completely different continent in France.
The Daryly spinoff was announced in 2020 alongside the announcement of The Walking Dead ending in 2022 but with Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride leading as Carol and Daryl. Since then, McBride dropped out of the spinoff (but seemingly is back in), leaving Daryl the sole survivor of the wishy-washy development. The Walking Dead set up Daryl's new spinoff in the series finale as he leaves on a motorcycle to find Rick Grimes and Michonne. But judging by all that's known about the upcoming series, his ventures got a bit off track.

The following contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1, Episode 3, "People Are a Resource," which premiered Sunday, July 2 on AMC.
The previous episode of Dead City reiterated that humans are worse enemies than the dead. "People Are a Resource" scales back on that a bit, proving that communities are the key to humanity's survival in a zombie apocalypse.
"People Are a Resource" opens with a flashback of Negan begging Ginny to talk so they can communicate signals of danger. Negan's also in a cowboy hat, which feels out of character but too hilarious to not accept. Ginny lost her stuffed dinosaur toy, which will come into importance later in the episode. In the present day, Ginny arrives in Manhattan. How a child got there all by her lonesome on a motorcycle is puzzling, but again, Dead City wants viewers just to accept things without question.

Lana Del Rey delivered her first headlining performance since 2019 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s Mita Festival on Saturday, May 27th, and the set showcased new songs from March’s Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd as well as a handful of live debuts and retooled tracks spanning her entire catalogue.
The melancholic muse began with an on-screen message wishing “God bless you, Brazil” in Portuguese before launching into “A&w” from her latest LP. Initially adorned in a black gown and blonde wig, Del Rey changed on-stage to her natural brunette and a floral dress without missing a beat during the third song, Norman Fucking Rockwell!’s “Bartender.” Her Did you know debuts included “The Grants,” “Candy Necklace,” and the title track, while she also gave an inaugural performance for “Flipside” from 2014’s Ultraviolence.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first big multiversal adventure, bringing villains from past Spider-Man movies into the MCU, and through their stories in No Way Home, the MCU secretly changed the fate of one character from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man universe. The mid-credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home set up the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home as Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) framed Spider-Man (Tom Holland) for his murder and revealed his identity to the world, which led the young hero to take some extreme measures to ensure the safety of his loved ones, but that led to bigger problems than the ones he already had.

Lana Del Rey is back. After her 2021 release “Blue Banisters,” finally we have more new music from the singer-songwriter. Her ninth album, titled “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” was released on March 24 and has so far been very well received. The album is acclaimed, as per usual with Del Rey, and it has actually garnered a lot of public attention, with the single “A&W” going viral online. But while most of Del Rey’s albums have been admired by critics and fans alike, her Grammy track record is a bit spotty and she has yet to win. Will that change in 2024?

Lana Del Rey hasn’t had a solo hit single since 2014, and she’s shown far more interest in pursuing her own singular aesthetic vision than in chasing the charts. “It’s not meant to be popular,” she said, flatly, in her first Rolling Stone cover story, right after the release of 2014’s noir-rock classic Ultraviolence. “It’s not pop music.”
Despite all of the evidence that she is, in fact, a brilliant, alt-leaning singer-songwriter, the world keeps categorizing Del Rey as a pop star — perhaps in part because she is,...
