LOVED it! Caught it on television the other night.....wanted to watch MORE! Didn't realize it's a brand new reality series! I LOVE to see "live" medical, ems, police, fire action!! Recommended!! Want MORE!! I enjoyed seeing the interactions of the individual partners while working! I liked that they added "the outcome of the story" in any case where it was possible! Eg...whether the patient lived or recovered, etc. I also like the following similar programs: "Trauma in the ER"6 "Untold stories of the ER" VGH....Vancouver General Hospital "live" trauma center. Would be great to have these programs continue on.....so often they just have a certain numbers of episodes and thats it! Keep 'em coming!!
When facing high stress situations it is easy to forget that these people are human beings. EMS didn't come fast enough. The police officer was rude. Somehow they become the bad guys. It takes a special kind of person to do what these people do. Every day they put themselves in harms way to help others. What I love about this show is that it reveals the obstacles that police, fire, and EMS face in an effort to do their job. It gives you an inside peek into how much these people love what they do and, more importantly, why.
New Orleans practically crackles with energy and life. But there is a dark side to the beauty. Filming Night Watch there is a brilliant idea because you see it all: the darkness and the light, the good and the evil of man.
I am completely addicted to this show.

We're glad to see Nightwatch New Orleans is back. It is well filmed reality TV at its best. The real people in the program have perspective and are sensitive to the public they serve so well.

I absolutely LOVE this show it's kind of like COPS but it follows a group of EMS workers in "The Big Easy" or New Orleans. I like how they are all like a big close family. They really love their jobs and always have the other's back. Some of their reactions to situations are hilarious and you never know what's gonna come out their mouths. One thing I have to warn is that scenes can get kind of gory. On some of the calls, if you're queasy you WILL have to turn your face away from the TV. But thank God some of the more grotesque injuries are blurred out from the network.I always like how at the end of the show there are good updates for the people they treated.

When I tell you he is my favorite person on this show. He is so honest and I can relate to him so much. The show would not be the same without him. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!

Please continue this show forever! The content is AWESOME! Love that it's graphic and real life, not scripted. This show would be great in any major city.

My sister mentioned this show to me some time ago, and I caught the beginning of an episode from another show. I was HOOKED in the first few seconds! We binge watched the first season, and couldn't wait to begin the 2nd season and beyond. Didn't make it pass the first episode of S2, but then S3 and beyond was back in NOLA and it's a show that we can't wait to watch on Thursday nights. To say this reality show is well produced is an understatement. It's almost as if we're watching a live version of Law & Order! Please, I beg you, Keep The Show in New Orleans!
The passion and love the cast has for the people they serve, especially the paramedics, are so heartwarming and loving, it's exactly what we all need to see; Love without Judgement.

They should allow this to be filmed in every major city in both Canada and the US.
I look forward to watching the New Orleans crew. The comradery is amazing. The EMTs/paramedics are knowledgeable and caring. The police officers are outstanding and good looking too! Although we don't see a lot of the fire department in the most recent episodes they don't miss a beat either. I'm going to miss watching the New Orleans crew. The intros for the Tampa episodes look good, but I don't think it will be the same for me.

From the beginning this show seemed very reminiscent of a UK show called "999," which chronicled the duties of emergency services in Blackpool, England (which shares some broad similarities with New Orleans). "999" featured outstanding camera work and a superb soundtrack, leading to a great, somewhat dark, yet polished tone.
Unfortunately this show is formatted like the rest of what airs A&E. The drama seems forced and the difficult duties faced by emergency services are clouded over by sound effects, predictable music, and thrilling camera shots. Not to mention there seems to be a fair bit of staged scenes (which is I guess is still commonplace in reality-TV).
But honestly, what turned me off the most was the dubbed-in siren sound effects. There is basically one sound effect that is almost everywhere in post-production sound editing for emergency vehicle sirens. It's distinct and it's obviously fake. In several places throughout the show you can still hear the original siren of whatever vehicle they're filming while the fake one is overlapped. I guess the idea is that the audience doesn't feel a police car or an ambulance is in a hurry unless you can clearly hear a siren (emergency vehicles respond without sirens all the time). While obviously the siren itself is a stupid issue to get hung up on, to me it has become a blatant indicator that a show is less interested in reality and more focused on cheap production quality and satisfying the perceived unintelligent audience.
What fascinates me are people. When I sat down to watch this, I wanted to know more about the lives of the people they were filming. What impacts does seeing the dark-side of society have on these men and women? What I got was action shot after action shot: stick around through the commercial break.
This show and its producers have the potential to make this something truly special. New Orleans is a perfect setting for showing how much really goes on "behind the scenes." Unfortunately it plays out like any other C-grade "documentary" on A&E, and much to my dismay, I'm afraid that won't change. But overall, it's definitely worth a watch.

I love the cast especially the EMT/Paramedic. They are so caring, respectful and really take time out for the patients. i especially love how Holly, Dan, Titus, Keeley and Garvin treats the patients like human being not the product of their environment.. i just love the show and all the people that work to save lives.. firefighters, police, ems and etc. i am glad there is a realistic show that gives us an insight on the night shift
This show is one of my favorites now and the New Orleans crew is the best! Wishing they did another season featuring only them but still very well done

I am a retired Nurse,I worked 42 years before retiring in 2013. I usually don't watch Reality shows, due to thier often Lack of Reality
Nightwatch is different it is mesmerizing, accurate, and made me glad I don't live in New Orleans!! The LEOs; Firefighters; and the wonderful EMTs and Paramedics are genuine, believable, and have great personalities!! My favorites were Titus T and Holly M! I binge watched ALL the episodes ,over 2 days, and it was better than a family reunion! I learned a little, cried a little and learned to appreciate my decades as a professional caregiver. I worked in Alabama; Georgia; Michigan; Texas, and Florida during my career. Thank goodness I never worked in Louisiana!

Really drives me crazy sometimes watching the show on the episodes when Holly does weird stuff and make these huge giant eyebrows and colors them in. It makes me think of a clown, you don't even notice her face which is pretty, all you do is you're drawn to these huge overly large eyebrows. Her natural ones are fine and look better on the screen. She is pretty enough she doesn't have to do that because it's not really attractive.
The show is like most medical reality type shows. Some episodes better then others. It is always more interesting to find out what happens to those injured. One would hope these ER and EMT shows allow people to understand to some degree how hard those fields are for all those 'first responders' even on everyday and not just times like this pandemic.

This show in 2015 was and EXACT representation of N. O. This new "I love New Orleans", "the people are so caring", "I would never live anywhere else" b.s. Is now the central theme of the 2020/2021 series. LaToya and Williams got to the producers, I'm sure and said to stop showing what a hellhole the city truly is. Williams emptied the jails. Murder is up 60% and armed car jackings are a daily occurrence and are now actually expected.
