This film was a joy. The interaction between characters was a delight. I enjoyed the comedic levity of the film and while some aspects of the plot may journey into the fantastical, I still found qualities of the cast relatable and endearing. A big music and dance scene in the town's pub was a highlight. It felt authentic and as the players on screen were having a good time so did I as a viewer. Writer Brian Walsh impresses with a comedic and sympathetic performance as Limp; and praise to Director Jack Conroy for carving out an entertaining, imaginative and fun movie.
I thought it was very entertaining and I really liked the performance of Brian Walsh.
It's no wonder why it won so many awards.

This is my favorite Irish movie overall because the content is truly authentic. I grew up in Ireland and can identify with the storyline. We honestly didn't know how to handle special needs people. These people were different and we simply didn't know how to relate. I love how the storyline played out. This movie Gaelic Curse covered a very big subject matter in a thoughtful and delicate way. There was humor associated with it which made me laugh, there was sadness which made me cry, but the beautiful music lifted my spirits, I highly recommend watching it.
Very enjoyable film. I loved the story and very different. Brian Walsh was terrific and charming.
There haven't been such strange goings-on in an Irish village since Waking Ned Devine. Not sure if it was the fun, the scenery, the music, or the devil himself but this film was sweet: definitely two lumps of sugar for me.
