Production on the film had to be stopped on the first day of shooting due to one of the main cast members, Danny, (Eric Wesley Mobley) becoming very ill to a bad stomach bug that was going around at the time, with a resulting trip to the hospital. Production resumed after (Eric) was released from the Hospital a few days later with a clean bill of health. This illness was written into the script. It was originally Charls who was sick, so the decision was made to make both Danny and Charls sick.
