The Red Hot Chili Peppers go full “We Didn’t Start the Fire” on their new song, “Poster Child,” from their upcoming album, Unlimited Love, out April 1 via Warner Records.
The track boasts some classic Chili Peppers instrumentals, with returning guitarist John Frusciante’s funk riffs flitting over Flea and Chad Smith’s effortlessly groovy backbone. With his always dexterous vocals, Anthony Kiedis takes a psych-tinged jaunt through the history of pop music and culture in a way that’s very reminiscent of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start...

With each month that passes, Netflix subscribers brace for a new wave of content – movies, TV shows, binge-worthy Netflix Originals… that kind of thing.
But in order to make way for that fresh deluge of entertainment, the streaming service sheds a number of titles, and February 2020 is no different. So as subscribers prepare themselves for Altered Carbon season 2 and Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution, they must also bid farewell to the likes of District 9, Gangs of New York and The Matrix Trilogy. Though surely the first Matrix film is the only one worthy of a goodbye. The sequels? Not so much.
Horror fans will be forced to bid adieu to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, too, while much of the Jeopardy! series will be leaving the Netflix service on February 27th. It’s part and parcel of the company’s ‘revolving door’ approach to content; as new material is added...

The eight-part documentary look at the Me Decade will explore the usual touchstones: Watergate, the end of the Vietnam War, the rise and fall of disco. And kicking things off tonight is “Television Gets Real,” an hour-long primer on how the medium derided decades before as a “vast wasteland” began to grow up and tackle serious themes as never before. One of the key players in that evolutio n— and a frequent presence on tonight’s episode of The Seventies — was a then-unknown actor named LeVar Burton, who starred as the slave Kunta Kinte in ABC’s landmark 1977 mini-series Roots. (And, in case you’ve...
