On Monday’s episode of “The Voice,” the Season 23 playoffs began for Team Blake Shelton and Team Chance the Rapper. (Team Kelly Clarkson and Team Niall Horan will have their time in the spotlight next Monday.) Of the whopping six artists that were sent packing this week — three from each team — we asked our users to vote for who was unjustly eliminated, and their poll results overwhelmingly favor Kala Banham. She gained fans this year by jumping around from coach to coach, starting on Team Niall, then moving over to Team Kelly, before finally settling in at Team Chance.
Indeed, Kala nabbed 51% of fans’ votes, compared to 19% for their second-place choice, Jamar Langley of Team Chance. Interestingly enough, the only Team Blake member with double-digit support was Mary Kate Connor at 12%. Here are the complete poll results for who your fellow “The Voice” viewers think was most robbed this week:...

After each team of five sang in front of the studio audience, their coach had to save just two of them, which meant the other three singers were eliminated.

The Flash is about to come face to face again with the Strength Force — though this time around, “Fuerza” will look a lot more like Reign‘s Sara Garcia.
TVLine can exclusively confirm that Garcia will make her debut in the CW series’ Tuesday, May 4 episode as Alexa Rivera, a social aid health worker who is working hard to overcome a dark past as she helps the underprivileged in Central City. But when Alexa uncovers a mysterious connection to the all-powerful Strength Force, she becomes Team Flash’s “most dangerous threat yet.”

Netflix has unleashed the trailer for its latest comedy series aimed at teens and nostalgic adults, and it’s called “I Am Not Okay With This.” Based on a 2017 graphic novel by Charles Forsman, the series comes from the director/executive producer of Netflix cult favorite “The End of the F***ing World,” Jonathan Entwistle, and producers on the streamer’s wildly popular “Stranger Things,” a vibe that “I Am Not Okay With This” is clearly grooving to. And as a kind of superhero origin story set among grade-schoolers coming into puberty, it’s got a John Hughes vibe, also. Check it out below.
Unfolding across seven 30-minute episodes that will drop on February 26, the series stars Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff (also from “It”), Sofia Bryant (“The Good Wife”), and Kathleen Rose Perkins, Aidan Wojtak-Hissong (“Falling Water”), and Richard Ellis (“Veronica Mars”). Actress and union activist Jodi Long is running for the office SAG-AFTRA national secretary-treasurer on the Membership First slate headed by presidential candidate Matthew Modine.
Long, a member of the guild’s national board, will be squaring off in the upcoming election against Camryn Manheim, who’s running on President Gabrielle Carteris’ Unite for Strength slate, and independent candidate Chuck Slavin. The union’s top elected financial post is currently held by Jane Austin, who’s running for president as an independent.
“Game-changing technology in our industry requires foresight,” Long said in her first campaign statement. “Matthew Modine and our Membership First slate possess the vision and the fortitude to excel. Whether it’s the tough job of negotiating new contracts, implementing innovative solutions within an ever-changing landscape, or ensuring membership — and the next generation — enjoy the very same benefits our former union brethren had the foresight to set in place.

Hey, "The Voice" fans. Tonight, April 29, 2019, the top 24 finally performed for your votes to get into the top 13. Of course, the judges: Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were on hand like they always are. For the first time, Apple streams will count as votes. There's a limit of ten streams per eligible song per Apple ID. To get things started tonight, Rod Stokes from Team Kelly hit the stage to sing, "Midnight Rider" by Allman Brothers. They didn't go to the judges for any comments on his performance or any other performances. I'm guessing that's because of time constraints. I mean they had 24 freaking people performing tonight. So, they had to hurry it along. The Voice gets good rating, but not that good. NBC's like, "You guys gotta wrap this show up in two hours." With that said, Matthew Johnson from Team Kelly Clarkson hopped on stage to sing,...

It’s one and done for Nightflyers: Syfy has cancelled the space-set horror drama, which was based on the novella by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin. Per our sister site Deadline, the culprit was low ratings.
Set in the year 2093, the series followed eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system aboard the Nightflyer, in the hope of making contact with alien life. But when terrifying and violent events begin to take place, they start to question each other — and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought.

Nightflyers star David Ajala is set as a lead of Under the Bridge, from Mistresses executive producer Rina Mimoun and Jerry Bruckheimer TV.
In Under the Bridge, penned by Mimoun, when a scandal rocks the medical practice she runs with her husband and their friends, a surgeon rises to the occasion and takes the lead in trying to mend both the practice and her own marriage.
Ajala, who fielded multiple offers this pilot season, will play Dan, a gorgeous, dry and somewhat broken man who “works hard for everything, except sex. That comes easily.” Back in the day, he hoped that Kate would wind up with him, but she married his best friend, Michael (Tbd), instead. When Dan votes to separate Michael from their medical practice, Michael considers it a personal betrayal. Only Dan knows the real reason: that in order to protect his best friend, he must be willing to sacrifice their relationship.

For those who have been following just how many projects “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail and star Rami Malek have taken on in recent years, Wednesday’s news that the fourth season will be “Robot’s” last isn’t that surprising. Esmail has always said he had a fixed ending for the show in mind, in part because the show was based on an original screenplay he chose to expand for the series; a show which stood out as one of the high points of TV’s recent boom in daring and groundbreaking storytelling
While Wednesday’s news was not a shock, as Esmail told IndieWire in an interview last fall the midpoint of Season 3 was the midpoint of his original story — which theoretically meant there were another two-and-a-half seasons left in his original concept. “That would add up to five seasons, right? That’s not bad,” he said at the time.

Dead of Summer alumna Paulina Singer is set for a recurring role in CBS All Access’ straight-to-series psychological thriller Tell Me a Story, from Kevin Williamson and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment. Written by Williamson, Tell Me a Story, which co-stars Billy Magnussen and Kim Catrall, takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interweaves “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “Hansel and Gretel” into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder. Singer will play Laney, a rebellious young ingénue who is exploring the darker persuasions of teen-aged angst and sexuality. Known for her series regular roles on Freeform’s Dead of Summer and WEtv’s South of Hell, Singer’s other credits include Orange is the New Black,...
