Cruel Intentions is a teen drama series created by Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman. David Duchovny, Jack Whitehall and Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten are set to star in a psychological thriller for Amazon Prime Video.

The trio are leading Malice, which is being produced by Clarkson’s Farm producer Expectation and Tailspin Films. James Wood (The Great) is the writer and executive producer.

The show is understood to be following a young man, played by British comic and Bad Education star Whitehall, who tries to infiltrate the world of a wealthy family. X-Files star Duchovny and van Houten, who played Melisandre in Game of Thrones, will play the heads of the family.

Eva Green is due to appear at the High Court in a legal battle over the demise of a £4m film project, with texts published in court papers ahead of the trial revealing that she called the executive producer of the movie a “devious sociopath” and “pure vomit”.
