Actor Waymond Lee, known for his role in Workaholics, has passed away. He was 72 years old.

Per TMZ, Lee died on Wednesday, Dec. 18, with his passing confirmed by his sister, Norine Lee, and his wife, Diane. According to his loved ones, Lee's passing was attributed to complications from Als, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The actor was first diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease in October, though it wasn't until earlier this month when he was diagnosed with Als.

Lee's family also stated that the actor was able to return home for a little over a week after his updated diagnosis, but returned to the hospital when he had difficulties with breathing and swallowing. After spending a little under a week hospitalized, he died with his wife by his side. His family added that Lee will be remembered as a "soft-hearted" and "sentimental person" who always loved his work as an actor,...

While the series will be released gradually, fans already love the new team of 'heroes' based on Dcu's more eccentric characters. The cast is also already gunning for a second season of Creature Commandos.

One element that makes the new series so great is the voice-acting, with the characters perfectly cast in their respective roles. However, some cast members have already had ample experience with the Dcu.

Resident Alien season 4 is set to give its leading man even more responsibility as he steps into a specific role for the first time in a long while. Alan Tudyk has led the Resident Alien cast since the sci-fi dramedy began back in 2021, and the confirmation of Resident Alien season 4 means he will continue to do so for at least one more run of episodes. In an exciting new development, Alan Tudyk has reportedly been cast in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film. Details about Tudyk’s specific role are still under wraps. Gunn, who co-wrote and is producing the movie, recently finished principal photography.

Tudyk has experience in both live-action and voice roles. He has lent his talents to several DC animated shows, such as Doctor Phosphorus in Gunn’s Creature Commandos and Clayface in Harley Quinn. Tudyk and Gunn also worked together previously on the web series Con Man.

David Corenswet will take on the role of Clark Kent and his famous superhero alter ego. Rachel Brosnahan was cast as Lois Lane. The House of Lies creator was never interested in telling a conventional story about clicking keys and endless lines of code. He cooked up something strange, a plan to make a show that was both fresh and innovative, worthy of being set during a period of profound technological advancement. So Carnahan walked into a pitch meeting and told the network that he sought to “ruin the genre.” He wanted the show to be as disruptive, an overused buzzword today, as the Og tech disruptors.

Alan Tudyk is starring in a new Syfy pilot based on Dark Horse's Resident Alien, where he comes to Earth to see if we're worth saving.

Alan Tudyk is no stranger to being the resident star of genre fare on screens both big and small. Memorably soaring like a leaf in the wind on the gone-too-soon Firefly and Serenity, his superb character work has ranged from the more prestigious to the unabashedly fanboy-friendly, a la Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Dollhouse. Syfy has found its Resident Alien. Alan Tudyk (Con Man, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) is set to star in the title role in Resident Alien, a drama pilot based on the Dark Horse comics series by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse, from Universal Cable Productions, Dark Horse Entertainment and Amblin TV. Nathan Fillion’s starring role as Captain Malcolm Reynolds on Fox’s ahead-of-its-time space/sci-fi/western series Firefly will likely be forever considered the elephant in the room that is his career. Yet, his 2009-2016 run – opposite Stana Katic – as the title star of ABC crime procedural Castle was, in actuality, the most prominent gig of his career. Now, a year and a half after that series came to a (controversially sloppy) close, Fillion has finalised a deal to return to ABC with a series called The Rookie.

ABC has emerged the winner in a competitive situation to acquire The Rookie, reports Deadline. With the network giving a straight-to-series order, Nathan Fillion will not only serve as star, but has also nabbed an executive producer slot.

In a heartfelt letter to fans yesterday, creator James Roland described how much making the show meant to him — and how disappointed he was that it had been canceled.

It’s not hard to see how Ryan Murphy arrived at his premise for “Ahs” Season 7. To say that many Americans have been living out their own personal horror story isn’t an overstatement — not with border closings, hate speech, and potential treason all enabled by the White House — but the new season manages to undermine the left’s legitimate fears and amplify the right’s monstrous traits all in one frenzied mess of an allegory.

Veteran actor John Heard, familiar to many as Macaulay Culkin’s Home Alone pop, was found dead on Friday in a Palo Alto, Calif. hotel room. He was 72.

A cause of death is not yet known, reports TMZ.

The Emmy-nominated, record-breaking independent online comedy “Con Man” has found a new home, one that producers deem a perfect fit: Syfy. The network announced Friday during the show’s Comic-Con panel that it had acquired both seasons of the “Con Man,” which will premiere on television this September.

The Alan Tudyk series is a somewhat fictionalized version of his experiences as a well-known sci-fi actor who attends a lot of fan conventions. This is big news not just for fans of “Con Man,” but for anyone fascinated by the evolution of the concept of independent television.

As soon as the “Death Note” movie was announced, controversy came with it.

The Netflix original film drew early ire for relocating the Japan-set story to the United States and casting a largely white group of actors in the main roles. Whitewashing claims have dogged the picture ever since, so it’s no surprise that director Adam Wingard was eager to show the film to fans.

“This has been a long time coming,” Wingard said, speaking before a secret screening of “Death Note” at Comic-Con Thursday night. “I’ve been on this film for a better part of two years. This is a film that’s had a lot of assumptions and expectations built on it, and the best thing we can do at this point is just show you the goddamn movie. I think we’re very proud of the film.”
