This long title actually refers to Jess Franco's EUGENIE DE SADE, NIGHTMARES COME AT NIGHT and SEX CHARDE. This 21-minute documentary takes a look at the last two films mentioned there with the main focus being on NIGHTMARES COME AT NIGHT, a film that was once considered lost. Franco experts Alain Petit and Jean-Pierre Bouxyou are joined by producer Daniel Lesoeur as they discuss what Franco was doing with this small films and how he pretty much had complete freedom to do whatever he wanted. They talk about the casting in the film as well as how it barely got released and wasn't seen for decades. SEX CHARADE, a film that is still currently lost, gets discussed as well as we hear about one possible viewing of the film but even the man who saw it isn't quite sure what he watched. Fans of Franco will enjoy this featurette as it gives some good information about both films. There's also clips from a Jess Franco interview that he gave Shriek Show back when NIGHTMARES COME AT NIGHT was first released.
