Jenelle Evans is giving insight into why she broke up with August Keen. The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star claims that Keen hit her and had another girlfriend while they were dating. The news comes after Evans posted a video of Keen leaving her home in the car that she co-signed for, while she was lip-syncing to the Beyoncé song "Irreplaceable" at him. Now, Evans has posted another video on her social media detailing their relationship and why she ultimately ended it.

After the release of Cowboy Carter, the country music community won’t be letting Beyoncé go anytime soon. A group of Black artists in country music have now given Queen Bey’s classic tracks the country treatment in a new collection from Apple Music, titled Nashville Sessions: Beyoncé Covered. Some of the most exciting voices in country music appear in the playlist, including Brittney Spencer, who put her spin on the beloved track “Irreplaceable,” and Breland, who took on Lemonade cut “Sandcastles.” Elsewhere, Tanner Adell, Madeline Edwards, and Joy Oladokun put their spin on songs like “Drunk in Love” and “Halo.”

“Beyonce has opened a door that’s going to be really hard to close,” singer-songwriter Tiera Kennedy shared with Apple Music about the recordings. On the joyful reclamation that is Cowboy Carter, she sang alongside Spencer, Adell, and Reyna Roberts on “Blackbiird.”

Nominations for the Grammy Awards are coming this Tuesday November 24, and there are categories that might set new records, either for wins or for nominations. Let’s look at a few.

Multiple records could be broken in this category this year. First, if Beyoncé gets a nomination this year — whether it is for “Savage (Remix)” with Megan Thee Stallion, her own “Black Parade,” or maybe even both — she’ll break the record for the most nominations for a female artist in this category, which she currently holds in a tie with Barbra Streisand at five apiece. Beyonce’s previous nominations were for “Say My Name” (as a member of Destiny’s Child in 2001), “Crazy in Love” (2004), “Irreplaceable” (2008), “Halo” (2010) and “Formation” (2017).

Not only that, Beyoncé would also join a select list of artists who’ve had Roty nominations in three different decades.

For every previously unknown single that reaches ubiquity after earning the affection of TikTok users — from Sub Urban’s “Cradles” to StaySolidRocky’s “Party Girl” to Claire Rosinkranz’s “Backyard Boy” — there seems to be a random oldie that experiences a sudden resurgence thanks to the app: Ciara’s “Get Up,” Ke$ha’s “Cannibal,” La Roux’s “Bulletproof.”

Megan Thee Stallion was thwarted two weeks ago when her “Savage” remix featuring Beyonce pushed her up to number-two on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj‘s “Say So” remix edged them out. But the duo made their way to the top anyway this week on the chart dated May 30. It’s Megan’s first chart-topper, but Beyonce’s seventh as a solo artist and her 11th when you count her hits with Destiny’s Child. Tom Hanks and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” co-creators Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna were among the many who paid tribute to the CW musical dramedy’s songwriter (and Fountains of Wayne co-founder) Adam Schlesinger after his death Wednesday at 52 from coronavirus symptoms.

Schlesinger, who earned an Oscar nomination for co-writing the title song from Hanks’ directorial debut “That Thing You Do!” earned high praise from the actor-director, who himself has been recovering from Covid-19. “There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do!” Hanks tweeted. “He was a One-der. Lost him to Covid-19. Terribly sad today.

“I have so much to say about Adam Schlesinger that I am at a complete loss for words. He is irreplaceable,” Bloom tweeted.

“Adam was so funny, so kind, so opinionated, so clever, so passionate,” she wrote, remembering the Fountains of Wayne frontman as a colleague and as a longtime friend.

A couple of young newcomers are the latest to join the cast of Ghostbusters 3, aka Ghostbusters 2020. Both Celeste O'Connor and Logan Kim have officially boarded the growing ensemble for the highly-anticipated sequel in currently unspecified roles. Filming on the movie is expected to get underway this summer.

According to a new report, Celeste O'Connor and Logan Kim have signed on for the movie, but it's not yet been confirmed how they'll factor in. They join a cast that already includes Paul Rudd (Avengers: Endgame) and Carrie Coon (The Leftovers). The younger cast includes Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Mckenna Grace (Annabelle Comes Home). Director Jason Reitman, son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, had this to say about the casting in a brief statement.

"Celeste and Logan are rare talents and we're all grateful that they'll be lending their unique voices to 'GB20.'"

It’s almost unheard of for one artist to earn multiple Grammy nominations for Record of the Year at the same ceremony. Pharrell Williams did it in 2014 as a featured artist on both “Blurred Lines” and the winning song “Get Lucky,” but when nominations are announced on December 5 two hopefuls could make history as the first female artists ever to accomplish the feat: Beyonce and Cardi B.

Beyonce has been nominated for Record of the Year five times without a win thus far: “Say My Name” with Destiny’s Child (2001), “Crazy in Love” (2004), “Irreplaceable” (2008), “Halo” (2010) and “Formation” (2017). She could up that total to seven this year with a pair of duets. According to the combined predictions of nearly 2,000 Gold Derby users, she ranks fourth in the category for “Perfect” with Ed Sheeran (17/2 odds) and sixth for “Apeshit” with Jay-z (13/1).

Le Pacte has closed a flurry of deals to major markets on a pair of buzzed-about French comedies, Patrick Cassir’s “Our Happy Holiday” and Thomas Lilti’s “The Freshmen” at Cannes’s film market.

“The Freshmen” reteams Lilti with French actor Vincent Lacoste who toplined “Hippocrate,” Lilti’s feature debut which world premiered at Cannes’s Critics Week and turned out to be a critical and commercial success in France and abroad.

Le Pacte hosted four market screenings for the film at Cannes and has now sold it to Italy (Movies inspired), Canada (Eye Steel Film), Switzerland (Filmcoopi), Austria (Thimfilm) and Benelux (Athena), Colombia, Peru and Ecuador (Cineplex), Central America (Cinepolis).

Be prepared to cry. Netflix has debuted an official trailer for a romance film titled Irreplaceable You, the feature directorial debut of TV director Stephanie Laing. The very talented Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars along with Michiel Huisman as two lovers who have been together since childhood, knowing they'll spend their lives together. The plot is actually a very heavy tear-jerker, about Mbatha-Raw being diagnosed with cancer, and she tries to help him find another woman before she dies, hence the title about "irreplaceable you." The full cast includes Kate McKinnon, Claire Holt, Jacki Weaver, Christopher Walken, Steve Coogan, Gayle Rankin, and Jessie Ennis.
