I find this movie funny with respect to its plot and characters. If you have somehow been involved in/exposed to some sort of old-fashioned aggressive marketing (especially in Turkey), you might find it a good laugh.
I am one of those who find Sahan funny and I think the Osman character was a well fit. The other characters were also funny, although the artistry is questionable from time to time. Sometimes the transition between events was too quick. For example, the transition to the final stage could have been somewhat smoother.

It's a nonsense type comedy, and should be treated as such.
The main character is absolutely hilarious, with his small nuances - an unaware eternal loser, but with an edge.
The plot isn't too simple, like other Hollywood movies of that kind, and it's got some interesting twists.
Again, the main star (known more in Turkey for another character he portrays), knows how to control the scene, with even the smallest gestures, ever ready to please as a salesman or to stomp the competition.
Even the love story was not to sticky, and has it's funny moments.
overall, a good laugh for those who are tired from English speaking comedies and want the same eyepiece, but upgraded with a middle eastern flavor.
If there was minus I would give that one but unfortunately I have to give 1 out of 10. Utter crap, this guy cannot act, in every movie he makes he changes his costume, hair, beard etc but always plays the same person he created once( Recep Ivedik). His brother is the so called director of all his movies and they are literally putting on a crap show every time purely just to make cash. Absolutely disgraceful.
I was expecting to get bored within 15 to 20 minutes as most generic comedy movies go but the movie managed to surpass my expectations. It was funny throughout, at least 3 instances had me laughing out loud with the only boring parts being the scenes where the movie involved a congregation. That part was idiotic but overall it was a good pass time and it even had a great happy ending! It had a great sense of humor, and had great ideas like the black dude being an Uyghur Turk. This movie is definitely recommended for people with a mature sense of humor. Children can like İvedik series more, let them have that crap, this is a much better Şahan =)
...and its a enjoyable one! I don't get the bad reviews. Its OK to not like the Movie, but its not a 2 Star One. I don't get all the hate towards him. Its not just swearing jokes, and the Movie has indeed a Plot. I laughed a lot, i enjoyed the Characters ...i had Fun. If you only remember the swearing jokes ...i guess that is all your Brain is capable of memorizing. So, if you liked his previous Movies like Recep ivedik and Celal ile Ceren i recommend this one. Don't be so harsh with your Critics, Cem Yilmaz also swears a lot but gets a lot of great critics and ratings. (dont get me wrong, i love Cem Yilmaz Movies). Keep up the good Work Sahan, we need more Movies like yours!
