Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a note: “07.02.2024 For we have become one… we are bursting with joy & love to announce the arrival of our son… love, Sheetal & Vikrant.”

Alongside his lead role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming project ‘12th Fail’, he is set to embark on Niranjan Iyengar’s directorial debut, which promises to bring to life the captivating story of Ruskin Bond.

Ruskin Bond’s first novel, ‘The Room on the Roof’, was published in 1956, and it received the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize in 1957. Bond has authored more than 500 short stories, essays, and novels which includes 69 books for children.

He adds that although award-winning lyricists do get due recognition these days, there still exists an ignorance about lyrics writers, which discourages many budding talents to pursue good writing.

"One has to give due credit to the lyricist and some of my colleagues including Swanand Kirkire, Varun Grover, Amitabh Bhattacharya and others are raising their voice in the matter. Look, no one is doing a favour by giving credit to a lyricist. It is our right, not a prize. I am not talking it for myself because I always got my credit. But many budding lyricists do not get that and the fact surely is a sign of discouragement," Muntashir told Ians.

After stepping into the world of acting with Ishaqzaade, he starred in films like Gunday, 2 States, Ki and Ka, Half Girlfriend, Mubarakan and Namaste England.

Does he agree that the acting profession comes with a lot of insecurities? "Yes. Of course, insecurities, but not bad insecurities... It is supposed to push you to do better. Being insecure is looked at as... in a negative context but that's not true," Arjun revealed in an interview.?

"I might be insecure about something but that should make me work harder so that I feel more secure," he added. Arjun said, ?He is a very secure person but everybody has "moments of weakness, where one feels insecure for a second. But you need good people around you to make...

Stardom costs a celebrity their privacy but it's a very small price to pay, says actor Arjun Kapoor, who has been dogged by wedding rumours. Social media has been abuzz about Arjun's rumoured relationship with actress Malaika Arora, who have become a paparazzi favourite in the Indian showbiz world.

Does he find it stifling that he is constantly under watch?

"Not really... It is a very small price to pay. At the end of the day, for what I have gained out of being an actor, somebody who is known across the country and the world, it's a small price. And people like to know how we are. They like to be surprised how normal we are, they like to know our idiosyncrasies. It doesn't really bother me," Arjun told Ians.?

"If anyone says 'mujhe meri privacy chahiye (I want my privacy)' then you are in the wrong profession.

2017 was a mixed year for Shraddha Kapoor. While Ok Jaanu had turned out to be a disappointing affair, she did have a decent success in the form of Half Girlfriend. However, her Haseena Parkar that released later in the year met with a very poor response. This is when she chose to take it slow and wait for the right assignment to come her way. “This is one genre that she has never attempted before,” says a close associate, “Though she has delivered successes across genres like romantic-musicals [Aashiqui 2], drama [Ek Villain], action [Baaghi] and dance-musicals [Abcd 2], horror-comedy is something that she has never tried before.”

No wonder, when producers Dinesh Vijan and Raj & Dk reached out to her with Stree, she was bowled over with the concept.

By now we all know that Akshay Kumar will be teaming up with Sajid Khan for the fourth instalment in the Housefull franchise.
