Lucasfilm was seemingly looking to expand the world of Indiana Jonesonto Disney+, similar to Star Wars, but Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny might have complicated that. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was the fifth and final chapter in the long-running film franchise, and it was highly publicized for being Harrison Ford's final time playing the title role. With Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy seemingly saying only Harrison Ford would play Indiana Jones, there doesn't seem like much growth for the franchise expansion. However, at one point in time, Lucasfilm apparently had a few ideas to expand the series, one that could have fleshed out the supporting characters in Indiana Jones's life.

During the latest episode of the popular movie podcast Blank Check with Griffin & David, co-host Griffin Newman reveals he previously auditioned for an Untitled Lucasfilm animated series that seemingly was an Indiana Jones-style show.

The news of Stewart's passing was announced by Cassandra Peterson, better known by her Elvira persona, in a post on Instagram. Nebula has set the cast for its upcoming short film from “Night of the Coconut” director and popular video essayist Patrick Willems, “The Dinner Plan.” A dark comedy about a guy with a rare food allergy who’s trying to make it through a stressful dinner party at his boss’s house, the cast includes “The Tick” star Griffin Newman, “American Fiction’s” Miriam Shor and “Severance” star Zach Cherry, among four other stars.

Per the logline for “The Dinner Plan,” “When he’s pressured into attending a dinner party hosted by his boss, a man who suffers from a rare food allergy must navigate the most stressful night of his life with one primary objective: just don’t throw up in front of everyone.”

The Tick is one of the greatest indie superheroes of all time. Published by NEC (New England Comics), originally a Boston-based comic book store, he has since been adapted into three different TV shows.

Ben Edlund, the creator of The Tick wrote and drew the original 12-issue run. The original run was collected in what is called The Complete Edlund Omnibus. Boasting 424 pages on its cover, the omnibus is an amazing piece for fans of The Tick.

Some of the greatest characters in The Tick mythos make their start here, including Arthur, Paul the Samurai, The Man Eating Cow, and The Terror. Edlund's world was amazing, with tons of fun characters and storylines that will be beloved for years to come.

The confusion for new readers is what is known as the Pseudo Edition. Edlund ran The Tick for 12 issues, which were fantastic but did not provide a conclusion to the final story arc.

The Rebel Moon universe is going to be expanded. Zack Snyder and Netflix have announced a new tie-in podcast that will serve as a prequel to the feature films.

As revealed by Netflix, the narrative fiction podcast will be titled The Seneschal. Set 500 years before the events of Rebel Moon, the audio story will explore the origins of the Jimmys. A teaser video for the podcast sees Snyder explaining, "Now that youve met the Jimmys in the movie, I want to tell their story, their creation, and how they came to be. Valorie Curry has played a lot of characters over the years with whom she had almost nothing in common — a murderous cult member in Fox’s The Following, a paramedic who moonlights for the mob in Amazon’s The Tick, a cryptid researcher in 2016’s Blair Witch sequel — but few have been quite as starkly antithetical to Curry’s personal beliefs as Firecracker.

Firecracker, the latest mutant to join Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys in its new fourth season, is politically divisive, with extremist and often hateful opinions on everything from vaccines and CIA conspiracies to the Lgbtqia community.

Curry, who identifies as a lesbian — she first came out as pansexual on Instagram in 2019, during National Coming Out Day — should have been repelled by Firecracker. But her reaction was just the opposite. “It sounds so gross to say, but I really connected with her right off the bat,” says Curry.

Exclusive: Veteran television and film director Thor Freudenthal has returned to NBC to direct and executive produce the pilot for the network’s new drama series The Hunting Party, which began shooting today. He’ll remain as a producer for the remainder of the series. The high-concept crime procedural hails from JJ Bailey, The Endgame co-creator Jake Coburn and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

The Hunting Party marks Freudenthal’s third pilot for NBC, having previously helmed the Quantum Leap and La Brea pilots.

Prime Video is drumming up the excitement for the new season of The Boys. After Billy Butcher’s anti-Supes crew, we now have the official poster for the latest members of The Seven: Sister Sage and Firecracker.

In one of its major deviations from the source material, The Boys introduces two Supes without comic book counterparts; hence, little is known about the newbies.

Sister Sage, a former member of the young Supe group Teenage Kix, reportedly boasts of superior intelligence but is often sidelined due to her race and gender. “We wanted a Black woman who was raised in a low socioeconomic area, so no one f---ing listens to her,” shares showrunner Eric Kripke in an interview. Suits: L.A. has hired another associate: Bryan Greenberg (One Tree Hill, How to Make It in America) has joined the cast of NBC’s Suits offshoot as a series regular, our sister site Deadline reports.

Greenberg will play entertainment lawyer Rick Dodsen, a protégé of high-powered Los Angeles attorney Ted Black, played by series star Stephen Amell. “Slated to be promoted, Rick is determined to stay one step ahead of his rival, Erica Rollins,” played by Lex Scott Davis, per the official description.

Enter the fast and turbulent world of underground crime in the new trailer from the Netflix original series The Gentlemen. The new show is inspired by Guy Ritchie‘s film of the same name. The trailer sees an unsuspecting chap get in over his head as he unintentionally becomes involved with his family’s drug dealings. This new peek at the series showcases the signature aggressive manic style of Guy Ritchie’s gangster films. Ritchie himself is wearing multiple hats behind the scenes as the creator, writer, and executive producer. He has also directed the first two episodes of the series. The show was also previously known to premiere sometime next month, but we now have a release date as Netflix announced the premiere will be on March 7.

Chicago P.D. has added a notable new character for the upcoming episode, Escape.

In addition to Officer Dante Torres (played by Benjamin Levy Aguilar) finally getting screen time, several new characters get introduced on February 7.

As advertised in the new Chicago P.D. episode promo, Intelligence aims to take down the city’s biggest drug lord.

Torres must go undercover during the new episode to get more information, allowing the writers to showcase the character again.

For the first three episodes of Chicago P.D. Season 11, Torres has been furloughed to spend time with his mother.

Now, Torres returns for a case that could take a few episodes to resolve.
