In the scene where the pigs are in the rye, three topless men played the pigs. Maiken Schmidt, who played Krõõt, had no idea that pigs were replaced by men so it came a total surprise to her when "pigs" actually started coming when she called them.

Goofs
When Andres finds out his daughter has been dating with the son of his neighbor Pearu, he rushes home by making the horse run as fast as possible. When he arrives home, one can observe that the horse is sweaty all since there is no steam coming off the horse. At the same time, you can see the breath of both Andres and the horse.

Exceptional. Among the best

I rarely write reviews. Don't know how I found this gem. This movie is exceptional. I felt like I am just not watching movie but part of it. Felt so real. Nothing more to say. Watch it. Rare gem.
