Gostosas, Lindas e Sexies

Directed by Ernani Nunes, starring Caroline Figueiredo (Beatriz), Mariana Xavier (Marilu), Cacau Protásio (Ivone) and Lyv Ziese (Tânia).

I haven't seen a movie this bad in a long time. Four friends, all of them fat, with their personal problems. There is no unity in history, but a jumble of stories. The script opens many arcs and doesn't close most of them. The most obvious example is the dialogue between Ivone, who is black, with her two twin children, a white girl and a boy with Asian features. They ask who their father is and are left with no answers.

The film could even lead us to reflect on fatphobia, as the four friends suffer prejudice, with mega fatphobic phrases from the other characters, but the script itself spoils this possible reflection by placing the four friends relating only to fit men, with bodies sculpted in gyms.

Despite being a comedy, makes us no laughing.

Paulo Silvino has a participation, which reminded me of the show Os Trapalhões on Sunday afternoons on Globo in the 1980s. Horrible.

Clichés and more comedy clichés.

In the end, there is that feeling of "despite being fat, they are hot, beautiful and sexy". There is no more fatphobic than that.

What an unfair average of 4 votes, lol, it could easily be me and my crazy friends in any ride, I super identified myself, as ex plus to say, lovely interaction between women regardless of strong personalities and with little "judgment", I super loved the exaggerated conical bias... Soundtrack with "All About That Bass" completely appropriate... Just the lack of sorority and the skinny vs chubby beast brawl bothered me...
