Writer/director Michael Dougherty rose up through the Hollywood ranks authoring the scripts for multiple major blockbusters. He co-wrote the screenplay to "X2: X-Men United" and "Superman Returns" (both of which were directed by the now-disgraced Bryan Singer), and proved his horror chops with "Urban Legends: Bloody Mary," a straight-to-video threequel to the oh-yeah-i-remember-that slasher franchise from the late 1990s. Dougherty's directorial debut, the horror anthology "Trick 'r Treat," saw a slow release in 2007, but became a Halloween standard almost immediately thereafter. The man knows how to terrify audiences. His most recent film was the big-budget monster movie "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," the third film in the U.S. MonsterVerse series.

Lance Henriksen takes us behind-the-scenes of Eminence Hill. The actor likes to think of Westerns as "morality plays that have stuck with us" for hundred of years. His latest movie is preparing to hit select theaters next month and he spoke a bit more about the art of a good Western and why moviegoers can identify with the certain characters from within these movies. Hulu has confirmed that several of its original series will be debuting new episodes on the streaming service in December, including “Marvel’s Runaways” and “Into the Dark.” And there will also be new to Hulu seasons of some of your favorites shows from other networks, including “Killing Eve.”

Likewise, there will be plenty of movies making their first Hulu appearances including the Oscar-winning “A Fish Called Wanda” and “Little Miss Sunshine.”

You know Krampus. But you don't know this. A terrifying new slay ride through the holiday season promises to bring one killer Christmas as it reveals the dark origins of a yule tide legend. Today, we have the very scary first look at Krampus Origins. And it's not even Halloween yet.

Krampus Origins features teen star Anna Harr in a prequel that is sure to freeze winter in absolute terror. Harr is known for her star turns in Bethany and Restoration. Joining at her side is Maria Olsen, who you'll remember from Paranormal Activity 3 and Percy Jackson. She'll next be seen in the revenge horror thriller I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu. Everyone loves at least one Christmas movies. Even the Grinches and Scrooges among us can't deny that there is at least one flick out there that can inspire the spirit of the season within them.

The Exorcist meets Stranger Things in writer/director F.C. Rabbath’s Watch Over Us, which stars Avery Kristen Pohl (The Glades), Ella Schaefer (Criminal Minds), and Daniel Link (Krampus Unleashed) in the frightening story of a family having to face a paranormal force on a farm.

A father and his young daughters move onto their grandfather’s secluded farm following the breakup of their parents. But once there, they are soon plagued by paranormal events that reveal a deadly secret that has haunted the family for generations, and an evil force that demands they uphold a deadly promise made by their ancestors.

After the tragic deaths of her husband and daughter, Sarah Doyle moves back to her childhood home with her estranged brother, Richard. The film sees the yuletide monster, the dark companion of Santa Claus, in town with a few days to kill.

Some things are better left buried. In pursuit of a lost treasure, a group of fortune hunters mistakenly unearth an ancient demonic summoning stone that holds a terrible curse and awakens a timeless evil, the Krampus. After centuries of slumber, Krampus, the Christmas Devil, has awoken with a thirst that only blood will quench. He knows if you've been naughty!

Writer-director Robert Conway’s partnership with Uncork’d Entertainment began with his horror film “The Encounter,” about a camping trip gone horribly wrong, and continued with “Krampus: The Reckoning,” about a little girl’s relationship with Krampus, the dark companion of St. Nicholas who punishes “bad children” at Christmastime in horrifying ways.
