The Horror-on- Sea Festival is Southend’s annual film festival, which was originally formed to promote Independent Horror films that don’t always get the opportunity to be screened to an audience. Following its initial launch this will be the festival’s 6th year and they are hoping it will be the biggest one yet…
Hosted at The Park Inn Palace Hotel (Southend-on-Sea) the festival will be running over two weekends from Friday 19th January to Sunday 21st January and Friday 26th January to Sunday 28th January.
They will be screening 30 feature films and 46 short films over two weekends, many of which, will be introduced by the filmmakers themselves. Other highlights include the Pat Higgins Masterclass: Fear and Film, dealer tables, very late-night festival bar and a Horror Escape Room.
For those looking to stay the Park Inn Palace Hotel offer heavily discounted room rates (book here) for horror fans attending the Festival.
