How I Got There

Hope this film is a cultural bridge between Kuwait and the rest of the world.

I'm so happy this movie got so much recognition at the Red Sea Festival and won the audience award. I hope this movie will get out internationally and bring more light to the Kuwaiti film industry.

An action movie with a comedic undertone about two best buddies from childhood, Salem and Asad, who stumble upon a gun shipment and try to seize this opportunity to get rich quickly. Not only does the film have some funny elements, but it also goes over very serious, real-life subjects.

This groundbreaking pic, which won Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Film Festival's audience award, is set entirely in the Arabian Gulf and provides a relatively realistic glimpse of Kuwait's present-day melting-pot of cultures and its underworld of gun-running mercenaries, gangs, and terrorists, plus the local rap scene.

Hope this film is a cultural bridge between Kuwait and the rest of the world.

I feel like our local movies were somewhat forgotten after their just release.

One more thing, there's in the awards incorrect info should correcting: to "Best Kuwait Film" instead of "Best Saudi Film"

At last, If you took the time to read all of this, thank you.

The movie was truly a piece of art not just a thriller movie

Such a masterpiece! The outstanding clips and the choice of places to film! Plus the storyline and the intriguing plot twists, something we're not quite used to in Kuwaiti film industry! The film was a mind blown epic. It gave a lot of laughs, suspense, as well as leaving the audience awe-struck.

I am glad to see the movie getting great recognition and winning awards! It truly deserves to be recognized and appreciated.

The movie was truly a piece of art not just a thriller movie, it shed the light on serious events occurring in Kuwait and also pin pointed Kuwait's beauty as well. I was utterly mesmerized at many points during the movie.

Outstanding work. This movie is definitely a shifting point for the film industry in Kuwait. Hopefully we will see more of what Kuwaiti creators have to offer.

Great movie!

This is such a great movie, you're hanging on every word and scene right from the go. It has such a familiar feel yet it still sparks the imagination throughout. Hats off to the director, the actors, and everyone involved in this. A trailblazing movie for Kuwait and Arab cinema overall.

It was amazing seeing everyone's faces leaving the movie, spectators who didn't know what to expect and were hooked on the ride the whole time. Great storytelling, action, and several laugh out loud moments. "Shai Raju!"

To all the creatives here in the Middle East, keep doing your thing and pushing boundaries and expect world class output. The door has been opened! Must see!!
