Interesting topic, but somehow not the right..

The plot of the movie is very interesting to me. I loved, that throughout the movie there were shown several historic records... But somehow the whole story was sunken by a attempt to turn the movie into a romantic drama.. It did not really fit together and the rather higher number of relationships in the movie made it boring.
