Featured review
After Cameron kidnaps Colleen, whips her and imprisons her, he tells Janice, who wants to let Colleen go, that he has hardly done anything. Cameron is a smooth talking liar, and a sadist who is into bondage big time, and convinces Colleen that she is considered a slave, and the 'Company' is vast and powerful, and tracks down any slave that tries to escape, and it goes very badly for the slave. The irony is that Janice, who he says he originally bought her as a slave and is now his wife, is very much into the Bible. Cameron told Janice when they married, she took a vow to obey and that she has changed. He tells Colleen that her only chance is to sign a document to become a slave, to wear a neck band, and is to be referred to as "K", just the letter, and total obedience. Ones sees the effect of the Stockholm Syndrome. Even when she gets a chance to visit her family (being told it was a very rare and special event, and cost him $1500 to the company, and that during the visit, the company will be watching and listening, so she had better behave) she stays evasive. Her parents knew something was up, a cult perhaps. It was in her sixth year of captivity. Colleen was hitching in California, and when they stopped for gas, she didn't listen to her internal voice that told her to run. Supposed to be based on a true story which I have not investigated, but it seems somewhat manufactured for television.
