I really enjoyed Breaking Boundaries. I came across this documentary while searching for Breaking Bad on the internet. However I was intrigued enough by the title to watch the opening few minutes and I proceeded to watch the whole thing, twice. I found Jack's story and attitude very inspiring. I was also very impressed to learn that his friend Lee was also making his directing debut with the project. Having experienced a J1 along the West Coast I could relate to the trip as I had visited many of the places myself. There were some solemn and dark moments within the documentary relating to Jack's past and his accident but these were interspersed between the joy and enjoyment that his group of friends were getting from their travels. Overall I felt the piece achieved great balance between adversity and the hope that can be generated from such circumstances purely through the power of perception. My favourite scene from the documentary was when the group visited Yosemite and Gordan took his top off. Gordan has great abs. Overall I really enjoyed this piece of work and would recommend it to anyone looking for some inspiration. Jack's story is a perfect example of how our circumstances and limitations can be defined by us, not by the world around us
