The overwatch shorts are at the point of writing this review 10 3d shorts detailing the background of characters in the game overwatch. The game itself does not provide a detailed information about its characters so these shorts are there to provide these especially for new characters. And for this purpose i have to say they are pretty incredible. Pretty much anybody will connect to at least one of these with the powerfull short term storytelling and incredible animation and music. The only negative points i have is that only the shorts together dont add up to much of an intresting narritive and the game is really the glue between the different shorts. Secondly the shorts are pretty kid-friendly which gives of at some points a fake, overly positive and cringe feelings at times.

But despite of these negative points the shorts are pretty great and a mustwatch if you play the game.

Since there are no reviews I would like to write one. First of all, you don't need to play the game to understand the message and the fact that this collection of shorts is not only extraordinarily animated but also has great stories that will please your every desire. But, if you play the game the stories get so much better because there are so many details you recognize from the game or things that are coherent in the game compared to the short animated episodes. I recommend to anyone who hasn't seen this series yet to watch it. And if you havent yet played overwatch, don't worry. Watch the series first, then play the game and come back in a month or so when your more in touch with the game or better at the game and watch the series for the second time and you'll be pleasently fascinated.
