Grammy-winning superstar Usher is set to headline the 2024 Apple Music Super Bowl Lviii halftime show.

The NFL, Roc Nation and Apple Music made the announcement on Sunday. The big game will take place on Feb. 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. It will air live on CBS.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. Debuting later this year, the currently unnamed podcast will release weekly and feature Noah’s commentary on timely topics and in-depth conversations with influential figures from around the world, the company said on Tuesday at Cannes Lions.

The series will be a Spotify Original podcast, produced under the recently combined Spotify Studios umbrella that now includes podcast shops Gimlet and Parcast. But unlike Spotify’s major exclusive talent deals of the past, Noah’s podcast will be available on all major platforms.

Exclusive: On the heels of the success of A Quiet Place Part II, Amazon has partnered with that film’s producer Brad Fuller, picking up Welcome to the Neighborhood, written by Ross Lazar & Sebastian Shepard with Justin Dyck directing. Fuller’s Fully Formed is producing.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but prior to the package being picked up by Amazon, sources say execs on the project were impressed with Dyck’s presentation of what this contained thriller could look like; it eventually landed him the job.

Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker recorded her two new solo albums Songs and Instrumentals in a cabin in Massachusetts, but her latest video finds her far out west in the California desert.

Shot at Wild Heart Ranch in Joshua Tree, the clip for “Forwards Beckon Rebound” features Lenker standing at a car, leaning in the driver’s seat to change songs. Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker had wasted no time in quarantine. The Brooklyn singer-songwriter will release two new albums, Songs and Instrumentals, on October 23rd via 4Ad.

Ahead of the release, Lenker shared “Anything,” which features her playing acoustic guitar with a paintbrush. “Grocery store list, now you get pissed/Unchecked calls and messages,” she sings softly. “I don’t wanna be the owner of your fantasy/I just wanna be a part of your family.”
