Fallout 76 isn’t the mess it was at launch anymore. Over the years, Bethesda has managed to turn it into an actual worthwhile game to play. With its latest “Ghoul Within” update, Fallout 76 has taken a big leap and has finally brought playable Ghoul characters.

It’s really a big moment for the Fallout franchise. Gamers had been demanding to play as Ghouls for decades. However, you’ll be shocked to know that one particular entry in the post-apocalyptic franchise 15 years ago wanted to bring playable Ghouls. However, Todd Howard and his team didn’t appreciate the idea.

Fallout 76 has clearly seen bad days during the time of its launch. The game, made by Bethesda Game Studios, was considered the worst-released video game back in the ye old days of 2018. But after the Wastelanders expansion pack, the game received a fairly good reception, and according to critics, it actually felt like a Fallout game after the expansion.

For new anime fans, there are plenty of great titles to pick up and binge-watch. Titles like Madoka Magica, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Konosuba can give viewers hours of intense action, comedy, and drama. A lot of this goodwill is built up through the anime's first season, which can help build fanbases for franchises overnight if done well. However, if the sequel doesn't live up to expectations, an anime series can be doomed to obscurity prematurely.
While the success of a good first season can set up an anime for success, a bad follow-up can ruin this potential altogether. A bad sequel can do much more than just ruin an anime's potential. It can also spell disaster for the franchise it's based off of. A poor adaptation of the source material can lead to potential fans to drop out in droves, leaving little enthusiasm for future sequels.

No one in their wildest dreams could’ve ever predicted the success the Fallout TV series would have. The show played a massive role in revitalizing interest in Bethesda’s classic RPG franchise. However, many are wondering what’s next and when Fallout 5 will hit the shelves.
The next Fallout game is still years away from release. (Image via Bethesda Game Studios)
We still don’t have a shred of an idea of what Fallout 5 might be since Bethesda hasn’t started working on the game yet. However, if Todd Howard and his team are looking to deliver another genre-defining post-apocalyptic RPG, the game can’t miss out on having one of the best weapons we’ve ever seen in Fallout 4.

Baldur's Gate 3 is exceptional in a lot of ways, from combat to NPCs and the depth of their stories. However, the game has a surprising letdown early on when using Tav, the default name for a custom character, as the protagonist rather than an Origin character - excluding the Dark Urge. The options for character creation are limited, making customizing Tav fall flat compared to the rest of the game, meaning that the best choice could be looking for mods to supplement existing creation options.
The modding community has, as always, acted quickly to begin pumping out content for Baldur's Gate 3. While modders generally post a way to support them with donations, downloading and using mods is almost always free. As such, below are some of the best, free mods that can be used to create the perfect Tav, remedying the lackluster character creation options included in BG3. Remember to...

Among the many groups of levels in Astro Bot, if the player wants to continue delving into secret stages, they can do so by finding the Lost Galaxy. In these small galaxies, there are generally seven collectibles to gather, including bots and puzzle pieces. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find all the Ghouls & Bots collectible locations.

Aliens play role in various Fallout games, from original to Dlc, influencing factions and technology. Aliens make a minor appearance in almost every Fallout game made. It's unclear if Fallout creators want fans to take alien lore seriously or as Easter eggs that impact canon.
While Fallout fans were originally limited to a smaller pool of gamers who have enjoyed the series at some point in the franchise's history, with the introduction of the Fallout TV show, a whole new audience has an interest in the lore and story of the universe. While Fallout factions like the Brotherhood of Steel and the pseudo-remnants of the Ncr debuted along with the show in April on Amazon Prime, there are several other factions and entire species within the games that have yet to be explored.
Although Ghouls are obviously a central theme, other entities like mutants and Synths never made an appearance in its eight-episode run.

Conrad Kellogg in Fallout 4 may hold the key to near-immortality through cybernetic enhancements. Other methods in Fallout for immortality include ghouls, synths, and cryo sleep, but each have limitations. The cybernetic path in Fallout has drawbacks and moral implications, making it the best but imperfect option.
Fallout 4 has many interesting characters to meet across the Commonwealth, but one villain may be the key to immortality in the post-apocalyptic universe. Fallout 4 introduced many firsts for the franchise, the biggest being a change to more modern gameplay. These changes mainly included sprinting and improved gun mechanics. This allowed the franchise to appeal to a wider range of players who typically enjoy faster-paced games and improved over aspects of Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Amazon's Fallout TV adaptation dives deep into the game lore, showcasing characters, settings, and history from the apocalyptic universe. Vaults, the Wasteland, mutant creaturesplay a significant role in the show, with potential for Mothmen to be added in future seasons. Including Mothmen could introduce a supernatural side to the Fallout story, offering unexpected encounters and new factions for Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul to explore.
Fallout's TV future has the opportunity to add one of the most absurd aspects of Bethesda's video game series. While not directly based on a specific game, the world of Fallout is on full display in the Amazon Prime Video adaptation, thanks to the characters, settings, and vast lore incorporated into the live-action show. Film industry cynics may take one look at a newly announced low-budget comedy called Barbenheimer and a poster that uses Barbie’s iconic pink font over a picture of a nuclear explosion and features the tagline “D-Cup, A-Bomb,” and immediately assume it’s simply a shameless attempt to cash in on a very recent cultural phenomenon. And those cynics would be absolutely correct, says Charles Band, the prolific B-movie icon who has been making low-budget horror comedies since the early 1970s.

Fans of the long-running game franchise Fallout will be excited to learn that the sequel to Fallout 4 is the next game on Bethesda’s list, after Elder Scrolls 5. It has been almost eight years since the release of the most recent mainline entry in the Fallout series, yet there are still gamers who continue playing it.

A reimagining of the breakout hit manga, Tokyo Ghoul comes to select UK cinemas on January 31st courtesy of Anime Ltd.
Directed by Kentarô Hagiwara, Tokyo Ghoul stars Masataka Kubota (“Death Note” TV Drama, “Rurouni Kenshin”), Fumika Shimizu (“Kamen Rider Fourze”, “The Dragon Dentist”), Yū Aoi (“Rurouni Kenshin”, “The Case of Hana & Alice”), Noboyuki Suzuki (“Gto: Great Teacher Onizuka”), and Yo Oizumi (“Spirited Away”, “Professor Layton” franchise)
Quiet and bookish, Ken Kaneki (Masataka Kubota) was all but dead to a world living in fear of “Ghouls”: creatures who not only share our skin, but crave its taste. When a nightmarish encounter leaves him a human-ghoul hybrid however, Ken finds himself taken under the wing of those he once considered monsters and fighting to protect them from a vengeful hunger that will leave him asking what it truly means to be inhuman.
