"The Fast and the Fierce" is definitely one of the worst titles The Asylum has put out so far. Especially since the title cashes in on "The Fast and the Furious", but it has absolutely nothing to do with that movie or genre.
This movie was actually entertaining enough for what it turned out to be, go figure.
There was some good enough acting throughout the movie, which was also a surprise for a movie such as this. It was especially nice to see Dominique Swain in the movie.
The CGI in "The Fast and the Fierce" was questionable at times. But of course, that was to be expected by a movie from The Asylum.
I managed to sit through the movie in all of its mundane entirety, and I can honestly say that I will not be returning to it a second time around.

This movie is awful. I haven't left any reviews on IMDb yet, but this is worth posting. This is the longest and most pathetic waste of time to watch. Bad acting, the title insinuates that it is somehow related to the fast and furious series; it's not. Poor performance, poor plot. Trust me, save your time, money or any "investment" in watching this.

The poster is very misleading. Intending to make it look like something akin to The Fast and The Furious. The plane, the passengers, the crew, the captain, all nonsense. The plane flying between buildings you wouldn't even find in a computer game! And the acting is mostly bad, the plot doesn't make sense, and the last minute is also dumb, dumb. Give it a miss, I really mean it!

Definitely a 1 out of 10 as you can't give a big fat zero. All the other reviewers seem to have summed up the film in it's entirety, well except the first review, but as that is from someone who 'stars' in the film then it's not really surprising is it......... Watch it if you want to waste 90 minutes of your life!!
The story and direction is terrible. CGI is terrible. Any movie using CGI should have a minimum quality, otherwise CGI makes it look worse. Engineering is literally thrown down the gutter! The plane scrapes a helicopter (the helicopter explodes), grazes the earth by the wing and nothing happens!! This whole movie is a waste of everything.
I don't even know why I started watching this.

I enjoy movies by The Asylum, if you watch enough of them your expectations are not very high You just want to watch something that involves minimal thinking and one viewing is enough... This movie 100% meets that criteria.

Despite the 1 star reviews given by other reviewers, this film has entertainment value. The acting and CGI isn't terrible, I've certainly seen far worse.
What this film does suffer from is liberalism. Like every recent film (which unfortunately come from the left more often than not), it's used as a propaganda platform with the same repetitive tropes.
Typical of leftist projectionism, every white person who is on screen at any time is of course
The middle eastern pilot and the black and gay Asian cabin crew are the only good guys.
And of course the only white person who isn't completely evil is a cafe- dwelling hipster with a laptop. But even he is painted as having a grey moral code and skipping out on his own honeymoon.
If you can look past the inherently-racist socialist propaganda then this is a good film for a lazy afternoon, reminiscent of the aeroplane-emergency type films from the 80s

Any show that can keep me interested in its entirety is worth a six or seven! I would have given a 7 but the title has nothing to do with the plot. The premise maybe overdone and it's not as good as "Red Eye", a personal favorite and a 9 but just because a movie has a low budget doesn't mean it's not worth your time! There are many fine actors oh, even if unknown, and the dialogue is true to life. So I don't know what everybody's bitching about except they want a free movie to be as good as a $15 one!

Have made no secret in the past of intensely disliking, and even outright hating a lot, a vast majority of The Asylum's (near-universally maligned for good reason) output, though there is curiosity as to whether they are capable of making something good and compulsive about their output's badness. Admittedly, The Asylum do have a small group of watchable films and the occasional (big emphasis on that word) above average one, unfortunately outweighed by the lacklustre at best and often dreadful films they churn out.
One would think from the title that 'The Fast and the Fierce' has something to do with 'The Fast and the Furious' films or ripping them off. It's neither really, and it is that it's not a rip-off, despite being very predictable and derivative, is pretty much the only thing that stops it from being one of the studio's worst. While not quite one of The Asylum's all-time worst, everything bad about their output is present and it's basically an abomination that shows no shame it seems in being as bad as it is.
1/10 is not a common rating for me these days and generally try to be encouraging and balanced when reviewing. There have been a fair share of films seen that have deserved the rating and look as though they didn't even try, other than wasting good actors that is one of film's biggest cardinal sins for me. That's the case with 'The Fast and the Fierce'.
As expected, 'The Fast and the Fierce' is cheap, and that's being generous, visually, even for something made on a low budget. It's very drably and sometimes dizzyingly shot, incoherently edited (bacon-slicer-like) with glaring and unforgivably sloppy continuity errors and even the scenery doesn't make much impression despite being actually the least bad aspect of the film. There are worse special effects in other Asylum films, they still look very cheap though and like they were an afterthought and made in haste. Am aware of the film being low-budget, but there are examples of low-budget films that still don't look awful and manage to be pretty good.
Can remember little about the music, which tended to be intrusive, annoying and out of place. The script makes little sense, sounds awkward constantly and on the wrong side of camp throughout.
There is absolutely nothing thrilling, tense, suspenseful, emotionally investable or fun about the story. The predictability may have been forgivable if the film was actually engaging let alone exciting but it fails to be either throughout. 'The Fast and the Fierce' is basically non-stop dullness and intelligence-insulting ridiculousness, with unintentional humour because of the excessive cheese, too much often extraneous talk and not enough action and extremely flat and irritating character writing.
Its incredibly dreadful with no exceptions acting from a cast that wouldn't even pass for Z-grade is one of the film's worst assets.
Overall, really poor. 1/10 Bethany Cox

My first review.. as mentioned in other posts the attempted trickery in getting us to believe we are watching a fast and furious movie is a major turn off ..further more while reading other reviews i noticed the only good review here is from an actor in the movie "jeffrey jameslippold" aka "actstagescreen" ..really jeffrey!
Never seen something as stupid as this! A cast of nobodies, terrible direction and script; so stupid really

Why not to see this movie.
First of all. Realt awful to use similar film poster as the furious series and the same font. Second of alla is that i watched it for 40minutes and all i was was inside a cabin and the plane acting fuzzy in the air. Really really awful movie.
Can i say i didn't finish watching it? First time i commented here and i wanted to do this review so no other person have to waste their time.
on the plus side though, i got to eat creeme cheese and crackers. but that was the only good thing about it.
Don't see it. promise winnie the pooh on a Friday night is funnier.
