Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again might have raised a question with its latest episode that not only proves what a brilliant piece of Marvel content it is, but also gives one of Marvel’s worst offerings a shot at redemption. When Matthew Murdock goes to visit his client in the episode, the character floats around the idea of a Skrull having committed the crime rather than he himself. while Matt shoots it down, it begs a question that could allow the MCU to revisit Secret Invasion in a more nuanced and mature manner, akin to the pacing and vibes of Daredevil: Born Again.

Fans hoping to see the long-awaited return ofSmallville might be waiting a little longer than they hoped. In 2021, it was announced that Smallville stars Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, who played Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, respectively, were looking to do a Smallville continuation in the form of an animated series. While the duo did pitch the series to Warner Bros. in January 2022, there has been no word on it since. The latest update will be disappointing for fans of the early 2000s superhero series.
On the latest episode of Welling and Rosenbaum's Talk Ville Podcast, the duo were joined by Smallville's co-creator Al Gough, who weighed in on what is holding up the Smallville continuation. It seems the answer is what everyone would expect: James Gunn's Superman. The focus for Warner Bros. and DC is on the new Superman movie, and any other Superman-related projects are of secondary concern at the moment.

With the upcoming release of Warfare, Alex Garland is once again poised to make waves within the film industry. Thus far, the war movie has received stellar praise thanks to a recent, early showing.
For those unfamiliar, Garland is renowned for his amazing screenplays, which include Dredd, Sunshine, Never Let Me Go, and 28 Days Later. He also steps behind the camera occasionally, having directed Ex Machina, Annihilation, Men, and the more recent, Civil War.
Garland is now back behind the director's chair for Warfare, which was co-written and directed by Ray Mendoza, a former Iraq War Navy Seal.

They say behind every good Avenger is a lifelong partner who's okay with them heading off to save the world from Norse gods, angry robots, or glove-obsessed purple tyrants. In the case of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, that person is his devoted wife and mother to his three children, Laura Barton. Sticking with the avenging archer through thick and thin and sharing a love so strong Clint crossed time and space to bring it back, it's safe to say that Laura Barton truly was one of the good ones. But just what is her history in the MCU, and how much of it comes from the comics?
It turns out Laura Barton's history is as surprising as her entrance into the world of super soldiers and iron men. It's a past that, while simple for casual viewers, actually gets a bit more confusing the deeper you dive into this franchise that's spanned over 17 years.

Superman is one of the year's most highly anticipated movies, so it's not exactly surprising to see so much buzz - both positive and negative - surrounding James Gunn's long-awaited reboot.
Test screenings have dominated the conversation in recent weeks and, in the latest edition of his newsletter, Jeff Sneider shared a few more details.
Chief among them is that he's heard Superman's current runtime is roughly 140 minutes. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was Gunn's longest movie at 150 minutes, while his Dceu debut, The Suicide Squad, was 132 minutes.
"I spoke to someone this weekend who has seen 'Superman,' and they really liked it," the insider explained. "They said David Corenswet delivers as the Man of Steel and that the 'jokey moments' I mentioned on my podcast, 'The Hot Mic,' were initially viewed out of context, but worked much better within the flow of the edit.

A new DC Universe report reveals how long James Gunn's Superman movie may end up being when the film hits theaters this summer. While the Man of Steel hasn't had a solo film in several years, DC Studios is changing that with the arrival of Gunn's Superman movie in a couple of months. With Superman being one of the most highly-anticipated movies of 2025, many are waiting to learn as much as possible about Clark Kent's cinematic return.
In a new report from The InSneider the outlet claims that the upcoming Superman film with David Corenswet currently has a runtime of 2 hours and 2 minutes. This would make Gunn's Superman movie the shortest of the hero's roster since the sequels to the Christopher Reeve films. At the time of this story's publication, DC Studios has not commented on the Superman runtime report.

In Marvel Rivals, anything can happen: heroes swinging from rooftops, explosive battles, and most of the time, chaos. And speaking of chaos, imagine Venom, the tanky anti-hero, suddenly transforming into a heat-seeking missile. Sounds like something out of a comic book, right?
Players are finding new ways to utilize the hero’s abilities. | Image Credit: NetEase Games
Well, thanks to a small glitch in the matrix, that’s exactly what happened. One player accidentally unlocked a game-changing glitch that made Venom dash at lightning speed across rooftops, completely flipping his original playstyle on its head.
The glitch that everyone’s hoping to recreate in Marvel Rivals
Venom, a powerful vanguard in Marvel Rivals, is known for his ability to swing across the map and tank some major hits. While he was popular in the early days, his pick rate has gone down a little due to players finding more powerful vanguards.

Captain America: Brave New World Worldwide Box Office: Beats Black Widow ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Captain America: Brave New World finished another week at the box office with a decent collection overseas and domestically. It has surpassed a major milestone internationally, helping the movie surpass Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow. It is expected to surpass two more comic-book films in its lifetime. Scroll below for the deets.
This weekend, Captain America 4 has slipped to #4 in the domestic box office chart. It happened due to the new releases, including Novocaine, Black Bag, and Mickey 17. The film is expected to finish its run at the cinemas soon and not cross the $500 million mark globally. The film has a hefty production cost like every other Marvel movie and might even suffer a significant loss. The MCU movies are having a tough time and only a handful of MCU films are hitting it out of the park.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 promised Star-Lord would return, but the MCU has yet to deliver on that. Chris Pratt hints The Electric State happens in an alternate timeline with an Earthbound Peter Quill variant.
Staff Sgt. John D. Keats, Chris Pratt's character in The Electric State, is in many ways a Peter Quill variant. That's not MCU canon but Pratt asserted their similarities. "They're both products of the same era, and so there's a similarity in the sense of nostalgia for an era that's bygone," he told Entertainment Weekly. "Although it's an alternate version [in The Electric State], it's the '90s, and obviously, Quill has all of these pop culture references to the '80s, things that helped inform him and who he was before he left Earth at 13. Keats is also a product of that time. So in that regard, they're similar."

Seis nuevos episodios se estrenan este abril. © Netflix
El reparto de esta nueva temporada está formado por Michele Austin (Hard Truths), Ben Bailey Smith (David Brent: Life on the Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Josh Finan (Say Nothing), James Nelson-Joyce (The Outlaws), Will Poulter (Guardianes de la galaxia Vol. 3...

James Gunn being at the head of DC Studios seemed to have brought some Marvel magic over to the other side of the aisle. While Gunn is looking to get the new and improved Dcu off the ground, it seems the playbook that he will be following is what the MCU has had in place for quite some time.

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix debuted a new season of Black Mirror, even if it feels like much longer. The streamer has finally unveiled a trailer and new images for the upcoming seventh season, along with announcing an April 10, 2025 premiere date.
“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” stated series creator Charlie Brooker during the 2024 Geeked Week festival. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”
Among them is the much-anticipated sequel to one of Black Mirror‘s most popular, critically acclaimed episodes, season four’s “USS Callister.” The sequel marks the first time Brooker has ever revisited any of the previous six seasons’ episodes.

The new season of Black Mirror is said to be a return — in more ways than one. In the newly released trailer for Season 7, it looks like more than a few characters and episodes will be revisited, including the now iconic ''USS Callister" episode from Season 4. And according to series creator Charlie Brooker, this new batch of episodes will also be a return to form for fans of the darkly satirical and at-times harrowing anthology series.
Calling the forthcoming season "a little bit Og Black Mirror," Brooker noted that Season 7 — which is slated to hit Netflix on April 10, 2025, goes "back to basics in many ways. They're all sci-fi stories," a welcome change after the past few seasons have focused more on the horror aspect than anything. "There's definitely some horrifying things that occur," he added, "but maybe not in an overt horror-movie way. There's definitely some disturbing content in it.

Their friend Drax (Dave Bautista) is standing silently in the corner, very slowly snacking on a bag of zargnuts. Startled, Star-Lord asks Drax how long he had been there. Drax says he had been there for a full hour. He also explains that he had been practicing a new stealth technique that rendered him invisible, provided he stands perfectly still.
Drax, of course, had not turned invisible, and had merely assumed he was because his friends failed to notice him. This is in character for Drax, who belongs to an alien species that has no concepts of metaphor,...

It began with 2008’s “Iron Man,” a film that introduced the world to Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark with the hint that he could be part of something greater. Over 30 films later, the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still being told, albeit with various tributaries and detours that introduce new characters and new worlds that may or may not cross paths one day. Each film in the MCU stands on its own to some degree, but like building blocks, they all connect as part of one interconnected universe. And in that way, watching the Marvel movies in order tells one grand story.
There are a couple of different ways to watch the Marvel movies in order, but below we run down how to watch the MCU in chronological and release date order. Indeed, some films like “Captain Marvel” and “Captain America: The First Avenger” are full-on prequels...

After their record-breaking box office success in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, the Russo brothers are back to helm the next two Avengers movies, Doomsday and Secret Wars. The Russos didn't just make bank with Infinity War and Endgame, they also broke another MCU record, directing two of the longest movies in the franchise's history. Very little about Doomsday and Secret Wars has been revealed so far, but both movies appear to be similar in scale and size as the last Avengers movies, meaning MCU fans might be looking at two more hefty runtimes.
During an interview with Collider to promote their new movie, The Electric State, Joe and Anthony Russo revealed the proposed runtimes for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. As you might expect, the two movies that will bring the Multiverse Saga to an end will rival the length of Infinity War and Endgame. Joe Russo said:

Vin Diesel has suggested that he may return as Groot in a new Marvel project separate from the Guardians of the Galaxy series. The actor shared the update in an Instagram post outlining his schedule for 2025.
“Disney wants their Planet X! Which some say is Marvel’s most anticipated movie, haha. The film where Groot returns to his home planet,” Diesel wrote.
His statement has led to speculation about a standalone film focused on Groot’s origins and home world. Planet X, known as the home of the Flora Colossus species, has appeared in Marvel comics but has yet to be explored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Diesel has voiced Groot since Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), continuing the role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He returned for Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). He also voiced the...

Vin Diesel has been known to use his Instagram to update fans on his upcoming projects, even when there isn't really anything official on the horizon. In a retrospective post, he has now shared surprising new updates on many possible new projects coming down the line, from a new xXx movie, the next Riddick installment, and a possible solo Groot movie from Marvel Studios.
A day after the Oscars ceremony, Diesel took to Instagram to update his followers on a few of his projects, but the one that stood out the most - because previously it was little more than a passing wish-list suggestion - was Planet X, which would be a new solo Marvel movie featuring Guardians of the Galaxy favorite, Groot. After mentioning speaking with Lionsgate about The Last Witch Hunter and when to fit playing xXx's Xander Cage again into his schedule, Diesel wrote, "Also, Disney wants their Planet X!

Since first appearing in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot has been a fan-favourite character among MCU fans. After sacrificing himself to save his teammates during that adventure, the sentient tree returned in the sequel as the adorable Baby Groot.
Later, we'd see Groot become a moody teenager, though he grew up a little in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 before transforming into the hulking "Alpha Groot" in a memorable mid-credits scene.
Groot has also been part of the Avengers and Thor franchises, and we reunited with Baby Groot in Disney+'s I Am Groot, a wonderful series of shorts that showed what the youngster was getting up to after being regrown by Rocket.

If you’re one of the many folks who have watched Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, you no doubt wiped away a tear or ten when you watched Rocket Raccoon’s tragic backstory play out. But, is his origin the most tragic MCU Original of them all? Indeed, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has dominated cinema for the past decade and a half and has given audiences some of the most memorable on-screen moments in history. Fans have developed close personal relationships with the heroes and characters to the point that they feel as if they’re real people existing in the real world. While that may not be true, it’s still a testament to how emotionally powerful the MCU has become that it allows audiences to empathize and care about completely fictional beings. Earlier today, concept art from Avengers: Doomsday leaked online. Someone is going to be in major trouble for this blunder, especially as it comes from an artist (we won't name and shame them here) who has worked on several MCU projects.
By now, we're sure you've seen the various pieces doing the rounds on social media but unless you've taken a really close look, you've likely missed some of the bigger reveals.
Those include the likes of Doctor Strange and Yelena Belova being among Doctor Doom's loyal followers, the dire fate of the Fantastic Four, a weird X-Men cameo, and a wild new status quo for Star-Lord and The Vision.
You can read through this Avengers: Doomsday breakdown by clicking the "Next"/"View List" buttons below...where you'll also find that must-see artwork (before it's inevitably taken down).

As is so often the case, we've now heard good and bad things from Superman's early internal test screenings. It's always best to take chatter like that with a pinch of salt, though we perhaps shouldn't be surprised that the reboot is drawing mixed reviews.
While filmmaker James Gunn has a great track record, the Man of Steel isn't a character it's easy to make relevant in today's world. The hero is viewed as overpowered and old-fashioned by some, meaning even the best Superman movie is unlikely to strike a chord with them.

Captain America: Brave New World might be nearing a $300 million global box office collection, however, it is considered a disaster. Fans should note that the budget of the film is $180 million and the film still has to make it past roughly $350 million to break even.
The film received mixed reviews from viewers, who weren’t convinced of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson as the next Captain America after Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. Fans were divided on the film’s political commentary, story, and characterization. However, Harrison Ford’s performance as the Red Hulk received praise.

Marvel’s First Family is set to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer, and if new reports prove to be accurate, The Fantastic Four: First Steps has a rumored runtime that could be more epic than many recent MCU movies. According to a new listing on UK theater chain Odeon’s website, the arrival of The Fantastic Four will be a record-breaker for the superhero team, and be the longest Marvel movie since 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3.
Runtimes are often published several months before a film hits the big screen, but can change over time as placeholders are replaced by actual confirmed movie lengths. If the Odeon’s listing is correct, then Fantastic Four: First Steps will be 140 minutes long, making it the 10th longest MCU movie behind Avengers: Age of Ultron, which came in at 141 minutes.

Marred by a mixed audience reception, “Captain America: Brave New World” has become the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to fall well short of the high standard the franchise set for itself during its cultural domination of the 2010s.
Sinking 68% from its opening weekend, “Brave New World” has a two-weekend total of $145 million domestic and $294 million global, the latter standing 20% behind the global $363 million two-weekend total of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in February 2023. There is still a possibility that “Brave New World” could leg out better in the weeks ahead than “Quantumania,” but that would mostly be because of a lack of significant March releases for theaters like “Creed III,” which hastened the decline of “Ant-Man 3” two years ago.

All We Know About The Rumored Runtime Of Fantastic Four: First Steps ( Photo Credit – YouTube )
The Fantastic Four is one of Marvel’s most iconic superhero teams, often called “Marvel’s First Family.” Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, the team includes Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing), and has been a cornerstone of Marvel Comics for decades.

At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, there was a tag that read, “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.” So far, we’ve yet to see Chris Pratt reprise the role of Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we have no indication of when he might appear. However, the actor seems confident that he will be back, perhaps even in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Pratt was asked if he would be in the new Avengers movies. He wouldn’t confirm or deny anything, only saying, “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 was the last time you saw Star-Lord, and there was a promise that Star-Lord would return. The Fantastic Four: First Steps may show an extended look at Marvel's first family if a new update is to be believed. The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe tentpole seemingly reveals its runtime, with its screening potentially setting a two-year-old MCU record.

It sounds like we might see Star-Lord in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Secret Wars after all.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was always intended to be the final Gotg movie (at least for the foreseeable future), and it served as a fitting send-off for the team - but it did also lay the groundwork for certain characters to return at the same time.
One post-credits scene introduced a new incarnation of the Guardians led by Rocket Raccoon, and the other teased the possibility of a solo Star-Lord adventure, with Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) returning to Earth to reconnect with his grandfather.
Director James Gunn has previously addressed that final "The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return" title card, and it there are (or were) indeed tentative plans in place for a spin-off focusing on Quill's effort to adapt to life back on Terra.
"Oh, but not quite over. We always...

Frank Castle will be appearing in "Daredevil: Born Again," but Marvel Studios is also giving The Punisher his own standalone story. The gun-toting good guy (honest) who has been known to leave battles with the occasional splash of red on him will be heading a brand new Marvel Special Presentation after helping out the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Bernthal is working on a one-off story akin to the gloriously gory black-and-white one-off "Werewolf by Night," starring Gael Garcia Bernal, and the "Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special," which was shoehorned in before "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3."
Bernthal, who took on the role in season 2 of Netflix's "Daredevil" in 2016, is as synonymous with his comic book counterpart now as Charlie Cox is with the Man Without Fear. It makes sense, then, that Bernthal is deeply invested in the project and co-writing the mystery one-off...

Chris Pratt avoided talking about whether he would return to the MCU as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, for Avengers: Doomsdayand Avengers: Secret Wars while attending the premiere of Netflix's The Electric State, which happens to be a Russo brothers sci-fi adventure. The Guardians of the Galaxy star said a lot without saying much at all, as a Deadline reporter pointed out that fans would like to see him reunite with the Russo Brothers again, to which Pratt responded with a serious case of bombastic side-eye, adding, "Oh, I know that. I know," before hurriedly being moved along. You can check out the video of the suspicious exchange below.

With James Gunn’s Superman set to hit theaters in July, the conversation around the film has taken an unexpected turn. As the release nears, questions about how the movie fits into today’s cultural landscape—especially under the second Trump administration—are being raised. When asked about what makes his version of Superman relevant to the current moment, Gunn had a surprising response.
“In some ways, I would say it’s the right Superman because I don’t think he’s a part of the cultural moment,” Gunn said. “He’s a character that stands for something that is solid—basic human morals, integrity, protecting the weak, being good to people, and being honest. He stands for the rules that don’t change.”
Different reporter pressed Gunn on Hollywood’s growing hesitation to discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion (Dei) efforts, especially given Trump’s push to remove such initiatives from government and public life.

Joe and Anthony Russo hit the red carpet for the world premiere of Netflix's The Electric State yesterday evening and, unsurprisingly, the subject of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars soon came up.
Deadline asked the filmmakers how work is progressing on the Marvel Studios movies ahead of a planned April shoot, leading Joe to confirm that they'll be filmed "fairly back-to-back."
He explained, "It’s all in London, we’re shooting them fairly back-to-back, it’s a lot of work again, we may or may not survive, we’ll see. But we’re very excited about it. We found a way into the story that we think is gonna be challenging for audiences, it’s challenging for us to execute. And it’s really exciting for us, it gets us out of bed to do it."

Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld had something to say about Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige after seeing the box office results of Captain America: Brave New World.
The post-Avengers: Endgame era at the box office has been challenging for Marvel, with only a few exceptions such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Box office results for the second weekend of Captain America: Brave New World showed a 68% drop week-to-week, positioning it as the third-most significant drop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The two films that fared worse were The Marvels, with a 78% dropoff, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania at 68%.
Following the report of Brave New World’s results, Liefeld took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted: “Get Feige off the mound. He’s spent.”
Liefeld quoted all the Marvel films that have dropped more than 60% at the box office in its second weekend, saying in...
