Marvel Studios and Disney+ have finally released the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. It resurrects the show after Netflix ended its run on Daredevil in 2019, and it's everything fans expected.
Daredevil: Born Again is loaded with action, drama and romance. In essence, it's very much what the initial series and the source material were about. But what does the new show foreshadow for Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and his place in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Netflix's longest-running original series, Virgin River, has already been renewed for season 7, but fans are still reeling from the developments of the just-released season 6. Based on the series of novels by Robyn Carr, Virgin River follows the denizens of the titular town and their myriad lives, loves, and secrets. The ever-popular soap opera boasts a massive cast that includes the likes of Annette O'Toole, Tim Matheson, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Martin Henderson, among many others.
Virgin River's fifth season saw the introduction of Battlestar Galactica veteran Kandyse McClure as Kaia Bryant, a tough-willed firefighter who winds up in a relationship with Preacher (Colin Lawrence) and might just be the one to break his streak of bad romantic luck. In addition to her star-making turn on Battlestar Galactica, McClure is known to genre fans for her roles on shows like Ghost Wars, The Good Doctor, and The CW's Charmed reboot.

One former James Bond actor is set to dip his toes back into the spy genre. A new report from Deadline revealed that Pierce Brosnan is set to star in A Spy's Guide To Survival for Uri Singer's Passage Pictures. Simon Barry, who previously served as showrunner and creator for Warrior Nun and Ghost Wars, wrote the script and will make his directorial debut with the upcoming spy thriller. As a writer, Barry has spent most of his career in television for the better part of the last 20 years, with his last writing credit on a screenplay coming in The Art of War (2000), which starred Wesley Snipes and Donald Sutherland.

With all the questions surrounding the next James Bond, Pierce Brosnan has given all of the two cents that he could. He’s dusted off inquiries and given his advice to the possible next actor, straight from his own experience of filling in the tux of the famous Ian Fleming 007 agent. While rumors still run rampant about Aaron Taylor-Johnson being courted for the role, no announcement has been made. However, Brosnan did give his approval of him for the role, saying, “I think the man has the chops and the talent and the charisma to play Bond, very much so.”
Brosnan himself is set to pick up a new dossier outlining his next mission. According to Deadline, the former MI6 agent has signed on to be in the new romantic thriller A Spy’s Guide to Survival, which comes from Uri Singer’s Passage Pictures. A Spy’s Guide to...

Vincent D'Onofrio is drawing a lot of praise from fans in honor of the chameleon actor's 62nd birthday. Having appeared in vastly different roles in movies and television over the past several decades, Vincent D'Onofrio is one of the most talented actors of today. These days, he is especially popular for his role as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, in the hit Marvel series Daredevil on Netflix. His performance has been praised as among the best we've ever seen from any actor in the MCU.
Of course, that's just one of many, many roles where people will know D'Onofrio from, even if they may not have always connected that it's the same person. Stanley Kubrick fans will certainly remember D'Onofrio's iconic performance as Leonard "Gomer Pyle" Lawrence in the classic war drama Full Metal Jacket. Netflix's new comedy Teenage Bounty Hunters centers on a pair of twins, Sterling and Blair, who team up with an established bounty hunter to track down bad guys and collect the rewards. So are the actresses actually twins in real life, or is this just a case of really good casting?
Although they certainly look like they could be twins in real life, actresses Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini, both 25, aren't even related at all. Fellini is still very much a newcomer to the business. Her most recognizable role has been on the superhero drama The Gifted, where she played Rebecca, aka "Twist." Her only other credits are the movies Sid Is Dead and The French Dispatch.
Phillips, on the other hand, has acting roles going back to 2013. For the most part, she's had one-time guest roles on established shows, including spots on Lucifer, iZombie, and Supernatural. She's...

Manga fans rejoice! Warrior Nun has been adapted into a new ten-episode series as part of Netflix’s increased science fiction slate. The series is being brought to the small screen by creator and showrunner, Simon Barry, who is known for his breakout hit Canadian time travel series, Continuum, and who recently produced a short-lived, supernatural series for Syfy called Ghost Wars. He is joined on the production side by Terri Hughes Burton of The 100 and Eureka, and Amy Berg of Counterpart fame will be on board as a consulting producer.

Netflix has had a lot of success with in-house comic book adaptations. Shows like Jessica Jones and Daredevil were important early hits and they’ve followed them up with the award-winning Umbrella Academy (check out the recent trailer for season 2 above) and movies like The Old Guard (which looks very promising). That winning streak will hopefully continue with Warrior Nun, which is sounding like it’s going to kick some serious ass.
The show is based on Ben Dunn’s comic book series Warrior Nun Areala, which began in 1994 and tells the tale of the Order of the Cruciform Sword, a mysterious order of warrior nuns fighting for the Catholic Church. The story has vastly expanded over the years, creating a lengthy continuity that manages to make this world of super-powered battle nuns weirdly plausible. Netflix’s take on it seems to be to taking it back to basics though,...

The news that The Order season 2 was assured on Netflix was almost certainly welcome for those viewers who were wondering what would happen to the Knights of St. Christopher werewolves after the events of the season finale. Fortunately, the show returns this summer, and lead actors Sarah Grey and Jake Manley are on board for the new season.
The Order may have snuck under people’s radar, but enough people tuned in to the series about a secret magical society hidden on a college campus for Netflix to keep the story going. The show comes from co-creators Dennis Heaton (Ghost Wars) and Shelley Eriksen (Continuum) and Nomadic Pictures, which also produces the hit vampire series Van Helsing for Syfy. Adding the element of justice-seeking werewolves to an otherwise familiar formula of hidden magic-users must have been just what viewers were looking for.

Spain’s big shoot business is rocking, galvanized by more regional options and incentives that are highly competitive — at least in rates.
With a long tradition of hosting international productions, Spain earned larger global visibility after “Game of Thrones” filmed there from 2014 to 2018.
Production services has become one of the healthiest audiovisual sectors in Spain, driven by a golden age of local and international TV drama, as well as greater legal stability of its incentives. Spain’s mainland offers 20% tax rebates for international productions, capped at €3 million ($3.4 million); in the Canary Islands, the rate is 40%, with a €5.4 million ($6.1 million) ceiling.
“Tax advantages are attracting all kind of international productions,” says Nostromo’s Adrián Guerra, president of producers’ association Profilm.
“There are so many productions going on all over Spain that it’s becoming difficult to crew up on new productions,” he adds.
Challenges remain. The tax system is predominantly luring low-to-mid-range foreign projects.

"When ten people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home," reads the official logline for The I-Land the seven-part drama.
"They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the island’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves -- or die as their worst ones."

The American manga, Warrior Nun Areala, will be adapted into a ten-episode supernatural series for Netflix.
Manga fans rejoice! Warrior Nun will be adapted into a new ten-episode series as part of Netflix’s increased science fiction slate. The series will be brought to the small screen by creator and showrunner, Simon Barry, who is known for his breakout hit Canadian time travel series, Continuum, and who recently produced a short-lived, supernatural series for Syfy called Ghost Wars. He is joined on the production side by Terri Hughes Burton of The 100 and Eureka, and Amy Berg of Counterpart fame will be on board as a consulting producer.
The Warrior Nun manga is an American title that began in 1994, and it ran for most of the following decade under different writers. The series was not without its controversy for its portrayal of religious iconography in a less than pious context,...

The American manga, Warrior Nun Areala, will be adapted into a ten-episode supernatural series for Netflix.
Manga fans rejoice! Warrior Nun will be adapted into a new ten-episode series as part of Netflix’s increased science fiction slate. Inspired by the Warrior Nun Areala manga novels created by Ben Dunn, Warrior Nun revolves around a 19 year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.
Whether or not the 19-year-old protagonist will be modeled directly after Sister Shannon Masters from the graphic novel remains to be seen, and the dropping of the name “Areala” may indicate a change from the original mythology...
