This movie was literally a copy of Descendants and it was just the worst movie ever made and honestly really predictable
I love the message of this movie. Only Disney can pull off making a funny ZOMBIE themed movie that left the audience feeling happy. I am a big Zombie Fan. In fact I am growing the Zombie Plant at home. I was hoping they would show the Zombie Plant in the movie that would have been funny to watch it play dead. Go see the movie...don't be afraid. The music was fun too! And if you are a Zombie Lover ...grow the Zombie Plant . I found the kit on amazon
As a 31 year old father of 3 girls, I have to endure some terrible TV and film. I got into this film more than I usually do. Silly story lines and plot, but it was a fun film and my kids love it. The songs are catchy. A well choreographed film with good chemistry between the actors.
I wouldn't watch this on my own. However, out of all the stuff I have to watch with my daughters, this is one of the better ones.

Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018) is a fine Disney Channel original movie. Disney Channel original movies can be good, but there some that are not that good.
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018) is good for Disney Channel movie standards. There are moments that do not work, but I did find things I did like about the movie.
There are some funny moments, and there are some nice moments. Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly as Zed and Addison are both good and I liked their personalities, along with them being cute together when they start having good chemistry.
The musical numbers are well done, and the dance choreography is good, along with the songs being nice to listen to. I do like how they setup the world that takes place in the movie and how they got the zombie problem solved.
There are some issues like it having some annoying characters or some over exaggerated moments, but other than that I can see kids liking a movie like this.

She insisted on the 8, though I would have hedged toward a 6, we had fun watching it together. The acting is actually fun to watch and the music is catchy. The story isn't great, and yes, pretty dang predictable in a lot of ways, but I think it handled the message of overcoming intolerance nicely. And it gave us a good chance to have a mom-daughter talk about how she can be supportive of friends at school that get picked on for being different in one way or another. Any show that can give you that opportunity has merit. If she wants to watch it again with me, I wouldn't hesitate.
