What a disappointment

I had high expectations for this movie. But they were dashed within 10 minutes in. Just about everything was a letdown. The storyline was okay. But the acting was terrible. Almost everyone in the film was mediocre at best. And then it got so heavy handed with the religious mumbo-jumbo it wasn't funny. It got real old real fast.

And the story was dragged out way longer than it needed to be It could easily been done in an hour. But nooo...they had to drag it out.

The other thing is that it was s cheesy as a Hallmark Hall Of Fame, made for tv movie. It got a fairly high rating on IMDB, but there were only about 80 votes. I'm guessing it was al friends and family voting.

You've been warned. Avoid this stinker at all costs!

Fantastic insight into the Joy & Pain of Family!

The film is an emotional journey! For those of us who never had a big family, it's an amazing look into the doubt and deceit and love of a large family and how those on the outside can better understand it than those on the inside.

The chemistry with the cast was amazing - it was as if they were a true family filming their struggles in dealing with the death of a loved one. Their arguing and bickering was genuine; a mix of both correction and competition.

The writing was well done and the script dialogue was totally authentic!

The Director did a superb job of allowing each of these actors to play to their strengths, which was natural, patient and genuine. Perfect little moments at the perfect time connected the whole story together seamlessly.

Director, Actors, and Writers - it was a 'slice of life' that played really really well and pulled on a couple heartstrings in the process!

Thoroughly enjoyed it - never a moment for the wandering mind!
