During the movie the character of Nico Lasarte is seen skateboarding while listening to his walkman in an outfit that consist of a puffy vest and a pair of jeans. That combo is a clear reference to Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly from Back to the Future (1985).

The movie story line happens between 1989 and 2014, but there's a calendar in the wall, dating August 2017, when Vera arrives in her supposed house in the new time line.

Totally awesome.

I have become a huge fan of time travel-ish movies and psychology thriller lately. in fact i would admit that the series "DARK" on Netflix is still my top five netflix original and you should totally watch it if you haven't already. Anyway, i really enjoyed "Mirage", i thought it was well written. well shot and well acted. i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. its definitely worth a watch.
