The Making of 'Waxwork' (1988)
*** (out of 4)
This twenty-four minute documentary was one of those promotional specials that were made to try and draw interest in a film. This one here takes a look at the making of WAXWORK and is hosted by Patrick Macnee and features interviews with writer-director Anthony Hickox, David Warner and other cast members. There's actually a lot of really good behind-the-scenes footage here showing the director working with his cast and we get some great footage from the set. I really enjoyed this documentary plus it was a major bonus that it lasted a lot longer than the typical four or five minutes like most of these. If you're a fan of WAXWORK then this is certainly worth watching due to the footage and interviews.
