One of the series most subtle homages to Anime is the casting of several Actors who have appeared in other famous Anime. K.O's actress Stephanie Nadolny played young Goku on Dragon Ball (1995), while Enid's actress Ashly Burch is most famous for voicing Sasha in Attack on Titan (2013).
One of the stickers on KO's binder is the Cartoon Network logo.
During the show's development, Rad's original real name was going to be Radimus.
In the original 2013 pilot Enid was voiced by Mena Suvari who later starred in Don't Blink (2014) which was directed by Travis Oates. In fact Jim Cummings the voice of Lord BoxMan works with Travis on all Disney projects of Winnie the Pooh where Travis voices Piglet and Jim voices both Winnie the Pooh and Tigger respectively.
