John Brannox has a quite interesting collection of 18th century Venice landscapes made by Canaletto and other painters of late baroque. You can see it in third episode, at the time of his rejection.

In the final scene of the final episode you can see Pío, Esther's son, riding a tricycle just like Danny in The Shining (1980), a possible nod to Stephen King.
