All eyes will be on screens - Excellent work

Arulnithi again chose the best script. Everyone contributed the best for this movie. As usual Arulnithi did a nice calm role and adds more thrill to the story. Within 20min of the film director brought in lot of characters and plotted lots of sequel and prequel frames. Mu Maran - NO ONE CAN SAY its his debut. He framed scenes that are needed and nothing in extra, this becomes a plus for the film.

Story starts with a mystery and also ends with a mystery.

Excellent thriller movie....Must watch for thriller lovers

Script is the hero...this films shows..we dont need kamal or rajini or Big budget to make good films...Open ended finish is awesome...eventhough i am from telugu...i watched with subtitles and enjoyed it...Excellent narration and tight script...

Classy suspense thriller movie

A cold hearted taxi driver who had a girlfriend suddenly arrested for a murder of a mysterious one. From the investigation it was seen that mysterious one had linked with many more people.

Who was the killer? Why s/he was killed? What was the link between his/her with other people?

My personal rating is 9.00 out of 10.00

A very brave attempt by the talented team

If your into film learning, then this is a must watch movie for you. 'Iravukku Aayiram Kangal' is a crime thriller action movie directed by Mu. Maran. It takes loads of courage to come up with such a great crime action script which needs to connect all the loose loop holes in the climax among the audience. It's definitely hard for me to believe that this movie is directors Mu. Maran debut movie.

The casting were well chosen for this movie. Ajmal, performed well after Ko (directed by KV ANAND). Arulnithi as Bharath, who played as a humble and quite Cab driver was well chosen for the role. He cares deeply for his girl friend Sushila.

The movie starts with a scene where a cab driver misbehaves with her, and she is saved by Ganesh (Ajmal). And then, they meet very often. In another parallel universe, businessman Vasanth played by John Vijayand his wife Rupali (Chaya Singh) leads a strange and miserable married life. The story also involves two persons who have been defrauded by different girls from the same gang, and seek revenge. Anandraj also managed to carry this more sensitive story. Also there's Lakshmy Ramakrishna as writer Vjayanthi, whose husband died mysteriously and whose green 1000 cc bike is missing.

The police gets a call regarding a gunshot which was heard from a house, and three people walked in and out of that house the same night. And the investigation starts not by the cops but by a Healthy screenplay. What links them to that house? Why is everyone held to ransom by Ganesh? And finally, is there a hint of a sequel?

We should really encourage this young talented team, the DOP and the editor for this movie. They are just brilliant. They understood the importance of the script and they really worked hard to bring the best output to make the audience to watch the movie in the edge of their seat. This movie runs nearly 2 hrs 1 minute and the editor knew what should he keep and what he shouldn't. The BGM is excellent in this movie. This is a worth and a must watch movie. Do encourage such young talents for Tamil Cinema. I strongly recommend this movie. A a special mention for 'Idhan Peyarum Kolai' by writer Sujatha

Screenplay inspired from Memento

The screenplay of this movie seems to have been inspired from Memento, except that nothing was good at all. The making was very very poor but the thriller plot was good enough to make you watch it till the end.

Promising

The murder mystery is engaging for the most part but some of the antics by the actors and the plot that gets convoluted for the sake of being complex gets in the way. There are some smart moves of connecting the plot with some prominent English and Tamil murder mystery novels but at the end, it's just trying too much and makes it an average experience with some promising talent.

Iravukku Aayiram Kangal

Good Movie. Everybody acted very well in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were not good in the movie. The movie was not so interesting or thrilling at 1st half. The movie was interesting and thrilling at 2nd half. The movie lagged at many scenes because of some unwanted scenes and songs. The climax in the movie was not good. Good Movie.

Too many twists. But still engaging

Engaging throughout the film. If director thinks he can make movie in full only about the climax and add more twists
