Gwen Stefani decided to return to The Voice for Season 26, as she opted to appear as a coach again.

It marks her eighth appearance as a coach after last appearing in Season 24 on NBC.

And the singer reportedly chose to come back to the singing competition show over touring with her former band, No Doubt.

She’d reunited with the band for Coachella performances earlier this year to much fanfare.

However, sometimes it’s hard to pass up a lucrative contract, no matter how much she might have wanted to continue touring.

A recent reveal of Gwen’s salary for The Voice suggests she’ll receive a multi-million dollar salary at the show.

In Season 26, The Voice will feature a coaching lineup that includes newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble. Reba McEntire is the only returning coach from the previous season.

Old school met grade school on Saturday at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California.

No Doubt made its first headlining appearance since 2015 at the festival, joined by Olivia Rodrigo, who was 10-years-old when the band last performed.

Rodrigo joined Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young on stage during the band’s 2000 hit, Bathwater, released nearly three years before Rodrigo was born.

The No Doubt set included Sunday Morning, Don’t Speak and Spiderwebs, among others. Old video footage of the band’s heyday played on the video screens throughout the set.

Bassist Tony Kanal has embarked on a new career as a TV composer. But he had to put that aside for a special date tonight at Coachella with his friends in No Doubt.

Debuting in 1992, the Anaheim, California group has sold more than 33 million albums. As a member of No Doubt, he helped launch multi-platinum, iconic hits like “Don’t Speak,” “Just A Girl,” “Spiderwebs,” “Hella Good,” “Ex-Girlfriend,” and “It’s My Life” up the charts, netting a pair of Grammy wins, appearances on the covers of Rolling Stone, Alternative Press and Spin, and even a Kennedy Center Honors performance paying tribute to Sir Paul McCartney.

Tonight marks No Doubt’s first major headlining show since 2015.

Kanal has been collaborating with composer Blake Neely, an Emmy winner known for his work on The Arrowverse, Greyhound, and Riverdale, with Kanal guesting on Neely’s soundtrack for the DC Comics TV series Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Vampire Weekend, welcome back to Coachella!

On Tuesday, the music festival unveiled the official set times for Weekend One, which includes the surprise addition of Vampire Weekend to the lineup for Saturday.

The group, which dropped their album Only God Was Above Us on Friday, will perform on the Outdoor Theatre stage on Saturday at 5 p.m, marking the group’s return to the festival after more than a decade. The group has performed at Coachella in 2008, 2010, and 2013.

Coachella has revealed its weekend one set times, which includes the surprise, last-minute addition of Vampire Weekend.
