Tyler Perry’s “Duplicity” has landed on Prime Video, and the writer-director brings forth a stellar cast to bring the legal thriller to life.

The cast for the film is led by Kat Graham, who stars as Marley Wells, a high-powered attorney who is on a mission to crack a murder case that hits close to home.

The movie is written, directed and produced by Perry. The film is one of the four films to come out as part of Perry’s four-picture deal with Amazon Studios announced in 2022. “Duplicity” is now available to stream on Prime Video.

Taking eight episodes for what would, in more efficient hands, be a pilot — and setting up a second season that’s somehow even less necessary — Paramount+’s Happy Face vacillates between sanctimonious and hypocritical, lashing out at the exploitative tropes of true crime and then embodying the genre’s worst instincts, with nothing especially perceptive to offer as compensation.

It’s a show that’s at least paying lip service to doing something interesting, but there are too many intellectual hurdles it can’t clear.

Your Honor, which recently sold to China and was previously remade in the States starring Bryan Cranston, is now traveling to Ukraine via a remake from local entertainment giant 1+1 Media.

The Ukrainian version will be made into a weighty, 16-episode series, with creative details and casting being ironed out.

Titled Kvodo, the legal thriller originated in Israel but is familiar to American audiences due to the popular Showtime adaptation starring Cranston, which ran for two seasons. It tells the story of a respected senior judge whose son is involved in a hit-and-run accident, leading to difficult choices, moral dilemmas and terrible consequences as he attempts to keep the crime a secret. Dennis Quaid is set to mark a haunting role in his filmography: Playing a serial killer. Starring alongside Annaleigh Ashford, upcoming Paramount+ series “Happy Face” follows real-life murderer Keith Jesperson, also known as the Happy Face Killer. Ashford stars as Jesperson’s daughter Melissa Reed Aka Melissa G. Moore, who is forced to confront the carnage caused by her father during the trial of another alleged killer.

“Keith Jesperson is a serial killer,” Quaid told IndieWire of his character at Paramount+’s The Lodge in SXSW. “He killed eight women in five years. He was also a father to Annaleigh’s character, Melissa, and she had a very close relationship. Then she found out at the age of 15, when he was caught, that he was a serial killer. How do you reconcile having that loving dad, with this monster, what he did? That’s basically what the show ‘Happy Face’ is about.

Production has concluded on Lone Wolf, a political conspiracy thriller featuring Bryan Cranston and Lily Gladstone. Directed by Mark Pellington, the film centers on a Marine veteran, played by Gladstone, who is drawn into a covert plot by a mercenary portrayed by Cranston.

Filming wrapped in late February in Albuquerque, New Mexico. O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jennifer Ehle, Chet Hanks, and Spencer Garrett have joined the cast. The script was written by Tom Chilcoat.

The project is produced by Ted Hope and Christine Vachon through Double Hope and Killer Films, along with Jordan Wagner of Wagner Entertainment. UTA Independent Film Group is handling sales.

"Your Honor" wasn't quite the hit that star Bryan Cranston's previous drama series, "Breaking Bad," was. But when your drama series is on Showtime (now Paramount+ with Showtime), it's at somewhat of a disadvantage in terms of its reach — which is why the excellent, savage satire that was "The Curse" never got the support it deserved. Luckily, after the series wrapped up in 2023, "Your Honor" got a Netflix boost when it hit the streamer back in July 2024, making it a much more widely-viewed show than it ever was before.

It was reported that the four-episode series will begin shooting in April, though it remains unclear when the reunion show is expected to launch. Also reported by Richtman is that the youngest child of Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) and Hal (Bryan Cranston) is a "16-year-old non-binary kid." This character detail hasn't been officially confirmed at this point, though the revival is also expected to revolve around Lois and Hal's 40th anniversary, explaining how the family is drawn back together.

Back in 2023, the actor sat for an interview with CNN wherein he talked about his thoughts and opinions on politics and the current world.

The Berlinale Series Market has unveiled its 2025 lineup, featuring 17 international series under its Market Selects banner.

Bryan Cranston is confirmed to be returning for a reboot of Malcolm in the Middle — but in the meantime, check out his other classic TV show, Breaking Bad. It was recently confirmed that a Malcolm in the Middle revival is in the works for Disney+. Cranston will reprise his role as Hal, Frankie Muniz will reprise his role as Malcolm, and Jane Kaczmarek will reprise her role as Lois. The reboot will consist of four new episodes, and it’ll see Hal and Lois demanding that Malcolm attend their 40th wedding anniversary party with his daughter.

It could be a while before the Malcolm in the Middle reboot finally streams on Disney+, but Cranston has plenty of other classic TV shows to watch during the wait. For starters, there are seven still-relevant seasons of the original Malcolm in the Middle series to binge-watch in time for the show’s continuation.

Before he became Walter White, Bryan Cranston was recognized as a character actor and a force to be reckoned with in television comedies. The actor, who reached unprecedented career heights with Breaking Bad later in his career, has Malcolm in the Middle to thank for bringing him to that platform. And thanking the comedy, he is — via a new revival.

That’s right! Cranston has decided to return to his roots, choosing his most popular on-screen comedy persona, Hal Wilkerson. The Breaking Bad and Your Honor actor will be reprising his role as Hal, alongside returning cast members Jane Kaczmarek and Frankie Muniz, who portrayed his on-screen wife Lois and son Malcolm, respectively. The sequel will directly arrive on Disney+ and will be a small affair with only four episodes and a limited storyline.

Get ready for the Honey Boys. That’s the title of the English-language version of Israeli comedy-drama Johnny and the Knights of the Galilee, which is being worked up by Tehran co-producer Paper Entertainment. The yes Studios-distributed series has already been successfully remade in France as Escort Boys.

The English-language take on the show will follow Ben, a struggling actor based in London, who returns to his hometown in Cornwall after his father’s death. His family farm is struggling and Ben and three childhood friends start an escorting business to make ends meet. What starts as a short-term fix becomes far more meaningful, rocking their pre-conceived ideas about love and sexuality.

Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz opens up about how co-star Bryan Cranston has continued to be a supportive and close person in his life, even 18 years after the series concluded. Airing from January 2000 to May 2006 across seven seasons, the sitcom focused on Muniz's titular child prodigy, as he struggles with growing up amidst his dysfunctional family dynamics and their financial struggles amidst the typical awkwardness of growing up. In Malcolm in the Middle's cast, Cranston portrayed Hal, the loving father of the family who often finds himself in over his head.

Spearheading a new strategy to grow an international slate, Israel-based Yes Studios has picked up “Haze,” an Icelandic crime series produced and created by Sigurjón Kjartansson.

The eight-part drama stars Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, whose acting credits include “Succession” and “Game of Thrones.”

Produced by Kjartansson’s banner S800, “Haze” has already been commissioned by Icelandic broadcaster Ruv. Filming will begin this Summer for an expected delivery in 2026.

Yes Studios has boarded international distribution rights for the series and also holds rights for the scripted format. The company will formally launch the series to buyers at next week’s Content London where it’s expected to kick off pre-sales.

Exclusive: Night Therapy, the Israeli drama series about a psychologist who see his patients at night, is in line for a German remake. SquareOne Productions is working on a German version of the series, which has proven popular on yes TV in Israel. SquareOne and yes Studios have previously collaborated on international versions of Your Honor, which has been remade in several territories.

The German-language version of Night Therapy marks the first international deal for the series. The drama follows Louie, an Arab-Israeli psychologist who is struggling to raise his family after the suicide of his Jewish-Israeli wife. He decides to shift his practice to receive patients at night. Flashback sequences reveal their stories.

The original version is produced by Eight Productions. It stars Yousef Sweid as Louie and featured Shira Haas (Captain America) as one of his patients.

The German Night Therapy is in development with as yet unnamed writers attached.

While all major actors turn in memorable careers that span numerous roles, some actors leave an indelible mark on a particular character. Although these actors can have other iconic characters under their belt, there's no denying that a role becomes almost synonymous with their performer.

Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will team up with Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone for Lone Wolf, a new action thriller. Cranston remains best known for his role as anti-hero Walter White in the acclaimed AMC drama Breaking Bad, which concluded in 2013. Gladstone, meanwhile, had her breakout last year with Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Academy Awards.

Deadline now reports that Cranston and Gladstone will star together in Lone Wolf, an action-thriller to be directed by Mark Pellington (Arlington Road). Tom Chilcoat wrote the script for the film, which will feature Gladstone as a troubled combat veteran recruited by Cranston's contractor character for a covert plot to assassinate a politician. After realizing that it was a set-up, Gladstone's character must take on shadow agents in order to protect her son. Pellington describes the film as a "character-based thriller.
