Forrest Shaw: Poor Decisions

In this pandemic period I have a lot of time to discover new stand-up comedians, or at least new to me, and Forrest Shaw is one of them. Never heard of him, or never saw one of his shows before, so this was a first, and it was a pleasant surprise. The venue where he performed looks little, some kind of nightclub I guess, he deserves a bigger audience, i guess you have to start somewhere. He has a quite static stage presence, does not have it from mimicing or gesturing, so maybe that can be improved. But that's not necessarily a bad thing as long as his jokes work. In my case they did work, I wasn't rolling over from laughter but I was entertained during his whole set and that's good enough for me. He has good material so I'm curious about his next show.
