The BOSS is made up of four large concert bands, three full Jazz "Big Bands", several jazz combos and chamber ensembles, a drumline, and a championship Color Guard.
Seven thousand purple dendrobium orchids and alstroemeriacascade from vines simulating the look of bougainvillea growing on its walls and archway corridor. Over thirty thousand deep orange Santana roses frame the deck gardens.
Founded in 1967, the band has been representing the culture and identity of the youth of Chitre and Panama for fifty years.
Since 1972, The LAUSDAll District Honor Band has been representing the largest school district west of the Mississippi River in the Tournament of Roses Parade.
"The City of Los Angeles" has been in the Tournament of Roses Parade for one hundred twenty consecutive years, making it the longest running float entry in Rose Parade history.
