If I was an agent I'd use this movie as a videobook for my representees

The screenplay is unvelievable, specially in 2019. The fish out of the water plot worked better in "Bienvenue au Nord" for instance, and Weir's Green Card nailed it with the same plot. BUT the actors are so funny that many times during the movie the audience laughed with bad jokes. Also with the good one. And that is an archievement.

A funny and sympathetic Spanish comedy about young people emigrating to China and seeking fortune

Enjoyable , heartwarming and uneven comedy , appointed for all kind of public about an agreeable premise : youngsters moving to remote countries to work , there they bear several ungainliness , confusion and crazy mayhem . In the film they are giggles , irony , comedy , almost-surrealist scenes about a sympathetic trio of rogue young people suffering a great number of adventures , distresses and blunders . From the start to finish the good mood and humor are continuous .Nutty Spanish comedy dealing with Braulio, Julian López, who after his flops in Berlin he moves to Hong Kong to work . Later on, there suddenly appears old friends, Rafa : Miki Esparbe, and Hakan : Younes Bachir in seach for new opportunities : to create a Turkish Kebab in China . They suffer several episodes of misfortunes, swindles but also successes. By the way, in a casual way, Xiao (Chacha Huang) , a special and modern girl, shows up in Braulio's life. All of them will support each other to achieve their goals.Based on hundreds of true stories (unfortunately).

This picture is enjoyable to see , because of the bewildering and likeable situations that protagonists suffer similar to recent Spanish emigrants, as they have to travel far countries to earn the money enough out of the motherland .Lovely , attractive and charming flick with cultural clashes between Chinese and Spanish people . Moving in locations where habits, language and culture are very different with the subsequent misadventures. Sitting in a strange middle ground between the completely absurd and the stylishly enjoyable , being an agreeable comedy with brief dramatic elements, as well as sweet hilarious touches . There are some nice jokes in the film and the cast , playing eccentric characters , make a cosy fit . The higlight and the best part of the movie results to be the amusing ending that takes place in Pamplona streets during San Fermin party and the popular Bulls Encierro . It turns out to be the sequel to Perdiendo El Norte 2015 by Nacho G. Velilla, following the same wake, a group of youngsters emigrating to find a better living, but it results in failing, being life not as easy as they expected. Fun acting from Julian López well accompanied by Miki Esparbe, Bachir, Edu Soto, Silvia Alonso, Malena Alterio and veteran secondaries as Leo Harlen and Carmen Machi. And brief intervention from Jávier Cámara , Fele Martinez and singer Sergio Dalma .

It contains a colorful cinematography by Daniel Vallderez shot on location in Madrid and Hong Kong, China. As well as a lively and charming musical score by Juanjo Javierre. It was Nominee Goya Awards 2020 , Goya : Best Special Effects to Juan Ramón Molina and Félix Bergés . The picture was well written by Nacho G. Velilla who directed the former film, being professionally directed by Paco Caballero who has written and directed several TV series.
