Music Video in Search of a Plot

Barbie loves Taylor and Taylor loves music. So why not hire some friends to make a movie about driving around Miami lookin sharp in our import SUVs? I mean that's what Moms do right? Note to self, if you want to mine for gold in the hills of High School Musical, your first hire should have been a choreographer and you should have bought a permit to shut down a boulevard and get these bodies movin' girlfriend! Hairspray wants it's salon back Maggie,

Awful acting,Awful film

It now makes some sense that I see the main actress is the producers daughter because I've watched some bad acting before in made for TV movies but this was definitely one of the worst I don't want to be too brutal because the actresses are only young girls but I think maybe they should consider a different career. Unless you are 12 years old give it a miss!

SO BAD!!!!!

Where do I start?? I really could not believe how bad the acting was in this film .

Especially Grace the Mother, and Mia the daughter, what an obnoxious duo!!!!!

With an attitude as bad as the mothers , it is little wonder that the daughter turned into such a brat !

And, are we really expected to believe that Mia is a talented singer?? She can barely act , let alone sing a few decent notes, but then, when your parents are the producers, what does it matter!

The whole plot was just ....ridiculous .

Not one single convincing performance here folks, Dont Bother.

Don't believe the haters

There are obviously people in the world who are aware that the producer cast her daughter in one of the lead roles. And they don't like that. They're probably resentful that the producer can pay for such a glossy, beautiful-looking film; they're also probably resentful that Taylor Castro (as Mia) really can sing and write her own songs. Also, despite the hateful comments, Taylor has a fresh honesty about her performance; I doubt that any of the people criticizing this film would be able to do as well as she did.

Gail Soltys (who plays Lindsay, Mia's best friend) is a natural on screen and is extremely beautiful. She and Taylor came across as authentic friends and I totally bought their relationship.

I enjoyed the performances of both moms, Christy Carlson Romano as "Grace" and Jacy King as "Ellen." I'm not sure where the hate is coming from.

Yes, there were some weak moments, but overall, I found this film enjoyable and the performances solid. But I guess that people don't have a lot to do except to hate others. The thinly veiled hatred by people who apparently know the producer is obvious. Must hurt to live inside your jealousy all day, raging that someone else has a courage to make a movie instead of just sit behind a computer and tap out vicious critiques.
