Hasan Minhaj’s Netflix weekly talk show “Patriot Act” won’t return for a seventh season, the comedian announced on Tuesday.

“What a run,” Minhaj wrote on Twitter. “‘Patriot Act’ has come to an end. I got to work with the best writers, producers, researchers, and animators in the game. My 2 babies were born and grew up with the show. Ty to @netflix and everyone who watched. Now it’s time to return these screens to Best Buy.”

Netflix continues to figure out its way in the comedy talk show arena. The Internet network has opted not to continue with two recent entries in the genre, The Break with Michelle Wolf and The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale.

Both shows were toplined by comedy personalities with successful track record, McHale as long-time host of The Soup on E! and Wolf as writer and contributor on Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

The Joel McHale Show debuted in February with a 13-episode season and a one episode put out a week. That was followed by an order for six additional episodes. The streaming network tried a different release pattern for the extra episodes, which all premiered on July 15.

The Break‘s 10-episode season premiered in May and aired over 10 weeks, with a finale on July 29.

Netflix has ordered an additional six episodes of “The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale,” an unscripted comedy show starring Joel McHale. All six new episodes are slated to premiere July 15.

“The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale” is a half-hour topical series that skewers the latest events in pop culture and news from around the world. It features celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and video clips from TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture, and every corner of the internet. The 13-episode first season launched Feb. 18.

The binge release of the additional episodes breaks from the weekly format of the show’s initial run. Season one’s guests have included Kevin Hart, Kristen Bell, Drew Barrymore, Timothy Olyphant, Alison Brie, Seth Rogen, Gabriel Iglesias, Bellamy Young, Susan Kelechi Watson, Anna Faris, Eugenio Derbez, Billy Eichner, and Paul Reiser. The first trailer and poster for The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale have arrived, teasing Netflix‘s attempt to revive The Soup. The reboot and revival business is strong across all of television, but Netflix is certainly leading the charge. After bringing back Arrested Development, they’ve tackled a revival for Gilmore Girls, provided the sequel series Fuller House, and have picked up a plethora of cancelled series from other networks and given them new life. Their next effort won’t be quite in the same vein, but it will see the streaming giant try and resuscitate Joel McHale’s original cult hit.

Netflix has confirmed that a slew of new original series will be debuting on the streaming service in February. There will also be new to Netflix seasons of some of your favorites from other networks. Likewise, there will be plenty of movies making their first Netflix appearances including Martin Scorsese‘s Oscar-winning “Goodfellas,” Quentin Tarantino‘s “Kill Bill” double feature, the “Oceans” trilogy, and all the films in the “American Pie” franchise.

Of the new Netflix originals, several stand out as particularly binge-worthy, including season 1 of the sci-fi series “Altered Carbon” and the sophomore edition of the teen drama “Greenhouse Academy.” And there are episodes of both the new David Letterman and Joel Hale talk shows.
