Not bad for a musical

'Avenida Larco' a famous hit by the Peruvian 80's band 'Fragil' is the title of this musical about a group of rich kids who want to make it in the world of 'rock nacional' which means leaving their privileged bubble to win over the kids in the 'pueblo jovens' which of the time of the 80's was an extremely dangerous affair.

May or may not be based on the true story of the famous 80's Peruvian band 'Arena Hash' whose members came from relative wealth and made it big in the latter part of the decade.

I don't like musicals except for 'Grease' so this is not a genre I care for but this was a decent film. Worth your time if you want to watch the subject and have an interest in how Peru was in the eighties.
