Only slightly sub-par, but pretty gory. Definitely has a few little holes and story parts that don't quite make sense. I mean, weapon-arms are neat, but why risk infection and weakness by doing it? Unless it were to replace limbs lost in the arena, and then I'd totally understand.
I liked the score, and some of the deaths were B-movie gruesome. The ending did put a smile on my face.
However, what this really needed was to be a couple decades into a post-apocalypse, or in some lawless strife-ridden foreign country. This scale of kidnapping and killing in America didn't quite work for me without there being some much deeper conspiracy.

Fight Club was volantary .. this isn't really that kind of deal. I've seen another movie where women where held prisoners and had to fight each other. They tweaked the concept here a bit, with a location and the ... extra parts it had free of charge if you want to call it that (no pun intended).
There will be people who will absolutely love this for the independent and low budget effort that it is. I couldn't really find too many things that would save this. I would not judge the people involved too much - either acting or whatever other department they did. Got to say though, the movie and the lighting of it all, look amazing. So maybe judge that. On the other hand, many are good in these departments nowadays and maybe you won't even care, because you don't get much out of the characters.
Kicking ... behinds from time to time, the action is important and it is done rather well ... but nothing to get too excited about either, considering other stuff I've seen. But considering the budget and time at hand, you might want to give it a break ... up to you it is.

Don't get me wrong, this movie is exactly what you think it is going to be, so there are no surprises. For what it is attempting to be, well... it is. It's a B movie with some good gags (f/x). There isn't anything new nor provocative. The acting isn't terrible and the direction isn't terrible either. The script is what it is. And I'd imagine that the movie did the script justice. If you haven't seen a lot of movies, you may just love this one! Read the movie's description. That's exactly what you'll get.
This had potential but it was lost with the plot and poor acting. Maybe if your into b-borderline-c movies. You'll like it. But I was looking for a roadhouse 1970's gory horror, and was disappointed.

I was kinda curious to watch this. Wasn't expecting too much as i knew it was a VOD low budget, and it turned out to be pretty much what i expected it to be. There is some entertainement in there, but it could had been lot better.
The concept of limb removal do not really make much sense as no one could be fighting right after that and how come a bunch of hillbillies end up having the medical competence to do this? I guess its one of those thing you need to suspend your disbelief and not care, wich is what i did.
Once around that how's the movie itself? Its alright... Fights could had been better but were not terrible either and some characters decisions/plot points didn't made sense, but i found some entertainement in it. I wasn't bored. But i did roll my eyes a few times at the nonsense so i can't really give it more than the half point mark of a 5.

This is not a real review, it should be understood more as a collection of impressions on the film.
In this film there are some beautiful girls and a lot of violence in a place like a coliseum but in a landfill where the fighters have a weapon instead of a hand, so the plot of the film may seem stupid and even futile and look at it it's too worse than one might imagine, truly terrible and terrible rubbish that isn't even funny and with nothing truly beautiful to appeal to. In conclusion the film is complete rubbish and therefore its setting in a landfill is more than appropriate so the film can throw itself away.

Spare Parts is a refreshing contribution to the horror film genre! He's not reinventing the genre, but it's a really well done piece of horror! Not cheap and the skills are well done too! Not bad.

WOW is this movie heavy on the downtime, with characters I could give two craps about. The second I saw the Fuse network was involved with this, my heart sank a little. And they totally lost me by the time the guy in the Corvette was trying to ram the girls' tour van off the road (No damage. It's a fiberglass car!). Some nonsense about the dirt in a junkyard that needs blood for crops. There's a cult leader who reveals himself to be a fraud. At its heart, this movie is about all the catty drama between four female bandmates. The action is pretty lackluster (and I saw a bunch of digital blood), with a few gore effects thrown in toward the end. I am the first one in line to see ass-kicking chicks in a movie, and Spare Parts offers very little in the way of thrills.

I came for the over the top violent combat, and Spare Parts was pretty good in that regard. If only every other part of the film wasn't a mess. It starts off strong, then quickly devolves into a heap of inconsistent/unbelievable characters, lame plot twists and kinda maybe revenge. Spare Parts is good for a few laughs and cringes at the sheer silly exaggeration of the film, but not much else.

This wacky rock horror thriller is a bit messy and sometimes lacks rhythm, but still entertaining.

To be ambitious with your film in the small budget world of indie filmmaking is one thing, to actually succeed like Spare Parts has is something else entirely. Speaking to the talent of the cast and crew when this film has cool story, solid acting and some damn good fights. Great kills. Surprisingly good effects work. Jullian Richings being evil. What more could you want in a film?

An awesome movie blending the cult/gore elements with the apocalyptic/punk culture of Mad Max. Great visuals, great fights, and great story. Recommended to all fight film fans!

This movie checked out all the boxes for me! It had a good storyline, great actors and captivating music. Not to mention, the epic fight scenes and special effects were the cherry on top. Highly recommend this movie!
