Now, Mabius has found himself behind bars after he was arrested on Thursday, February 20, in Florida.

According to TMZ, the actor who has also starred in Haul Out the Holly and its sequel, was arrested on Thursday and booked into Nassau County Jail and Detention Center before 6 am. Mabius is facing two misdemeanor charges: battery and resisting an officer without violence.
While so far, what has happened is unclear, Mabius’ mug shot reveals a cut by his right eye and the fact that he is not happy.

The Ugly Betty actor was arrested just after 2am in the early hours of Thursday morning before he was booked at Nassau County Jail and Detention Center at 5:45am on two misdemeanor charges.
He’s facing a battery charge and resisting arrest without violence, both misdemeanors for which he is awaiting trial. In a mugshot, Mabius sports a black eye.
Mabius is known for playing Daniel Meade on ABC’s Ugly Betty for its four-season run from 2006 to 2010, as well as his recurring roles on The L Word, The O.C. and Chicago Fire. Multiple outlets are now confirming that the actor — who’s been a regular on such shows as Ugly Betty and Chicago Fire — has been charged with assault.
Details of his arrest are scarce at the moment.

But judging by his mugshot, Mabius absorbed quite a few blows during the conflict that landed him in police custody.

So it’s safe to assume he sustained his injuries before police arrived on the scene.
