The CBS show, Tracker, has recently been moved to an earlier Sunday time slot, and the move seems to be paying off for the hit series. Tracker has already distinguished itself this fall season as one of the most viewed shows on television, and now, the second season of the Justin Hartley-led drama series is set to further stamp its authority. In a recent updated ratings data report, retains its spot as the most-watched entertainment program of the 2024-25 TV season so far. The drama series is also the highest-rated drama while also pulling a slightly larger audience than it averaged in its first season. The report which ranks non-sports program ratings reads, *Trackers gain appears to be The Equalizers loss, as Queen Latifahs spinoff-spawning action drama is now drawing markedly fewer viewers in its (soon to be even) later Sunday time slot."...

Justin Hartleys Colter Shaw has had a lot of missing persons cases over Trackers one-and-a-half season run on CBS, but next week, the stakes are higher than ever as hes trying to bring a very good boy home. In the upcoming episode, titled Mans Best Friend, Colter will be trailing a familys favorite member whos gone missing. Ahead of this weeks episode, November 17s Trust Fall, the network is already getting the ball rolling, releasing plot details and a lineup of images that tease the heartfelt drama to come when Mans Best Friend airs on Sunday, November 24.

Treasure Trackers: "Treasure Trackers follows California surfer Leah who must relocate to the small town of Carterville, where she bands together fellow misfits Marshy and Tessa to track down the town’s mythic treasure. I played Starfield at launch and had a blast, but never got around to beating it. There were a bunch of games released late last year, and I enjoyed Lies of P immensely, got the platinum trophy for the brilliant Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and even had a great time with Assassin's Creed Mirage's homage to its predecessors not to mention my forays into Baldur's Gate 3, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, God of War Ragnark: Valhalla, and The Finals all before year's end. All this is to say Starfield got put on the back-burner, and I hadn't felt compelled to jump back in until recently.

Nexus Mods user Nell Drakebane released a free "Faction Story Expansion" for Starfield's Trackers Alliance, adding new quests. The mod is designed for lower-level characters but promises future updates with features like Vendor NPCs and more dungeons. Fans expressed concern over additional bounties needing to be purchased, accusing Bethesda of further monetizing the game.

While many Starfield players were excited to see the Trackers Alliance expanded through the launch of the Creation Kit, one fan opted to release an entire expansion for the faction that didn't require additional payments. Those who fancy themselves intergalactic bounty hunters will likely have already worked for the Trackers Alliance, a group of tough-as-nails fighters who make it their mission to bring down anyone with a price on their head. It's a fun faction, but having several quests locked behind a paywall left a bad taste in many players' mouths.

Tracker came out of the gate strong on CBS, an action drama starring This Is Us Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a survivalist who travels across the U.S. finding missing persons and solving cases for reward money. Based on the Jeffrey Deaver book The Never Game, the series received a second season renewal, set to premiere in October of 2024.

The first season had a healthy 13 episodes, each following the same formulaic setup: Colter receives a case, works the case, gets into some type of danger, and then ultimately solves the case. Each episode also slowly develops an overarching story about Colters own life and fractured family dynamics.

Astras are a valuable new currency in Starfield, used to trade for rare, epic, and legendary items with a Trackers Alliance trader. Astras can be found throughout the Settled Systems, but players may be able to farm them with specific skill in space combat. Although Astras can guarantee a rarity, certain items traded for them might still be underpowered.

Starfield's June 2024 update brought many changes to the game, including improvements to its Trackers Alliance. This faction allows its members to become true bounty hunters, but it also has a less advertised mechanic which is useful for any Spacefarer. That is because one of its agents has all the legendary gear a player could want - if they have the Astras to pay for it.

Bethesda’s tough luck with Starfield continues as the game has once again come under scrutiny. The flurry of criticism came after Bethesda introduced a new mission to Starfield, which cost $7. The negative reviews have piled up so much that Bethesda’s executive producer, Todd Howard, has come ahead and made a statement acknowledging their mistake.

Of course, there is no defending the decision to add essentially a single mission for $7. Todd Howard has acknowledged that Bethesda has screwed up and promised to fix the situation. CBS has put on hold plans to announce its fall 2023 schedule at a reveal event in Los Angeles on May 9. The network will still share its schedule next week, but instead likely by traditional press release.

The party, which was to take place at NeueHouse Hollywood (next door to CBS’ new Hollywood headquarters), was to have served as a replacement for the traditional upfronts event that CBS always held in New York at Carnegie Hall during upfronts week.

Here’s the memo from CBS: “Due to the WGA strike, we are postponing our Fall Schedule Reveal party at NeueHouse on May 9. We plan to reschedule the event at a later date, and look forward to hosting you at that time. The network will still release its new 2023/24 Fall schedule next week.”

Among execs who had been scheduled to attend the party: CBS CEO George Cheeks and new CBS entertainment president Amy Reisenbach.

Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games star Natalie Dormer is set to lead the cast of White Lies, a South African crime thriller from M-Net, Quizzical Pictures and Fremantle.

The Hollywood Reporter can reveal that the British actress — who became a fan favorite for playing Margaery Tyrell across 26 episodes of Game of Thrones — is now in Cape Town, where shooting is due to start on March 6. Dormer also had major roles in Picnic at Hanging Rock and The Tudors, and moved into producing and writer with 2018 thriller In Darkness.

Set in Cape Town, the thriller is being adapted by Moon Knight writer Matthew Orton and follows talented but broken Detective Benny Griessel, who is tasked with tracking down a righteous vigilante killer whose crimes are capturing the imagination of the city. Benny and grieving father Thobela are brought into the orbit of trapped mother Christine, who is willing to do anything to achieve a better life for herself and her daughter, and the fates of these three characters become inextricably linked as the series builds to its explosive climax.

Series stars Hilton Pelser, Sisanda Henna and Tarryn Wyngaard and is being directed by Jozua Malherbe. Orton is adapting with Amy Jephta, who is also associate producer.

BET+ has picked up the U.S. streaming rights to South African-produced sci-fi survival thriller “Pulse.”

“Pulse” tells the explosive story of an electromagnetic pulse that disables a secure building and disrupts the bio-electric signals in everyone’s minds, trapping a group of video game designers and turning each floor into a psychotic battlefield. The show questions whether the modern human race can really survive without the technology that defines our way of life today.

The hit BBC drama “The Replacement” is set for a Finnish adaptation produced by Helsinki-filmi (“Tove”) for local streamer Elisa Viihde.

The Elisa Viihde original series has started filming in the metropolitan area of Helsinki under the helm of filmmaker Jyri Kähönen. It will launch on Elisa Viihde Viaplay streaming service in 2022, and is being represented in international markets by Sony Pictures Television.

Peacock has acquired the BBC’s Ya drama series Noughts + Crosses, which imagines an alternate world in which Africa colonized Europe — but this new version of history still feels awfully familiar.

Based on the first novel in Malorie Blackman’s Noughts & Crosses series, the six-episode project takes place in a timeline where Africa — or “Aprica” — invaded Europe centuries ago and enslaved its people, instead of the other way around.

HBO Max is going to the dogs: WarnerMedia’s forthcoming streaming service has ordered the dog grooming competition series Hot Dog (working title).

The 12-episode program will feature “three dog groomers facing off in a full head-to-tail creative competition showcasing canine breeds of all kinds,” per the official synopsis. Each installment will include “imaginative challenges and out-of-the-box themes meant to spotlight the best looks for man’s best friend.”
