Rather than face someone like the Hulk, as the host suggested, Hahn wants to keep Agatha's foes in the realm of mysticism and magic.

"Doctor Strange or Loki could be really fun... mischievous magic...Other, like a wizard or mischief maker- also of course, Scarlet Witch," said Hahn on the potential choices.

Currently, there are conflicting reports on whether Agatha All Along will receive a second season.

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer is notorious for being opposed to second seasons (she also turned down Marvel Studios for a second season of WandaVision), so if the show returns, it will likely be without its original, creative driving force.

Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are set to shoot back-to-back (with a short break in-between) in the U.K. next month, but Olsen revealed that she will be back home in the U.S. filming a new project when cameras start rolling while speaking to THR about her new movie, The Assessment.

"I didn’t realize this until about six years ago, but because Marvel and its influence takes up so much physical time and space in the world, it’s really important for me to make choices outside of Marvel that reflect my own taste," Olsen told the site. "Your taste does create the artist that you are, and that wasn’t something I was thinking about when I first started working.

Before Elizabeth Olsen became the apple of Marvel Studios’ eye, she announced herself to the industry with a powerhouse performance in Sean Durkin’s critically acclaimed indie, Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011).

After Daredevil's initial cancelation, fans were distraught over the idea of never seeing the dark, gritty vigilante or his vibrant cast of supporting characters again. Audiences were then over the moon to see Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D'Onofrio return as Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye. Born Again was announced shortly after, and now, the new series has officially brought Daredevil and his friends into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As excited as fans are about this development, it has also led to some questions about the new show's place in the official MCU timeline.

Elizabeth Olsen will lead the cast of a new FX drama series. Olsen recently appeared in The Assessment, which debuted at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, and in Netflix's His Three Daughters, with her performance in the latter receiving critical acclaim. Other notable Olsen movies and television shows include Wind River, Love & Death, Ingrid Goes West, and Liberal Arts, along with her numerous performances as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the project, which has earned a pilot order from FX, “a large, tight-knit family begins to unravel when a sister” played by Olsen “starts communing with a voice no one else can hear — forcing each of them to confront long-buried secrets,” per the official synopsis.

For fans of the MCU, Elizabeth Olsen is best known for portraying Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch. She first appeared as the character in Captain America: The Winter Soldier back in 2014, meaning she has been playing the role for over a decade. Although Scarlet Witch’s fate in the MCU remains uncertain—she is presumed dead at the moment. The rumors are loud that she will be back in one way or another, but at this point nothing has been confirmed.

The actress voiced the character for the upcoming Marvel Zombies mini-series, but that is hardly what fans are expecting from the character.

Recently, Olsen spoke with Collider’s Christina Radish while promoting The Assessment. During the interview, she shared her thoughts on playing Wanda and whether she might return to the role in the future.

In October 2022, it was announced that Vision Quest was in development, with Jac Schaeffer serving as head writer and executive producer. By May 2023, Eileen Shim had joined the series as a writer as well.

However, Schaeffer shifted her focus to Agatha All Along, and now Vision Quest is being led by Terry Matalas. With Matalas at the helm, this marks Marvel’s first new live-action TV series in nearly two years, signaling a shift in their approach to TV production on Disney+.

Daredevil: Born Againis a major step in the right direction for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Disney+ series revives Netflix's iconic Daredevil, which kicked off the Defenders Saga with a brutal and epic storyline that showed the great potential of the street-level MCU. Born Again comes at a turning point for the cinematic universe as the franchise vows to provide higher-quality content after several turbulent years full of hit-or-miss projects. Thankfully, the new Daredevil series is already proving that the MCU is learning from its mistakes.

Daredevil: Born Again features the return of one of the McU's best villains, Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. the Kingpin. After multiple bouts with Daredevil, Fisk has now become the Mayor of New York City, seemingly legitimizing his agenda.

The review embargo for Daredevil: Born Again lifted last night just as the first two episodes hit Disney+. A late embargo isn't always a great sign, but the full season has received a mostly positive response from critics.

As for the previous Disney+ MCU shows, Born Again is higher than the only "Rotten" project in the bunch (Secret Invasion), Echo (70%) and Loki season 2, and tied with Agatha All Along.

According to THR, Walt Disney Animation Studios has pulled the plug on the animated series based on The Princess and the Frog. The series would have focused on Princess Tiana and was set to feature Anika Noni Rose reprising her role from the 2009 animated movie. It was first announced in December 2020, so this one has been in the works for quite some time.

The report states that “despite best efforts, including several changes to the creative team, Tiana ultimately could not get to where it needed to be given production costs.” Unfortunately, a Disney spokesperson confirmed that there would be some layoffs at the Vancouver studio working on the project. Another unannounced feature-length project being developed for Disney+ was also scrapped.
