Kathryn Hahn was a recent guest on Mythical Kitchen's Last Meal, and the Agatha Harkness actress was asked by the host to share her desired adversary for Agatha to face in her next television or cinematic outing.
Rather than face someone like the Hulk, as the host suggested, Hahn wants to keep Agatha's foes in the realm of mysticism and magic.
"Doctor Strange or Loki could be really fun... mischievous magic...Other, like a wizard or mischief maker- also of course, Scarlet Witch," said Hahn on the potential choices.
Currently, there are conflicting reports on whether Agatha All Along will receive a second season.
Showrunner Jac Schaeffer is notorious for being opposed to second seasons (she also turned down Marvel Studios for a second season of WandaVision), so if the show returns, it will likely be without its original, creative driving force.

It's been over six months since Agatha Harkness once again bewitched us with her presence. Kathryn Hahn's diabolically fun witch returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in WandaVision spinoff series Agatha All Along during spooky season last year and it was a beacon of hope during a relatively dark period for the MCU.
The show received rave reviews from critics and fans, while also introducing the world of Marvel to new audiences as its funny and yet horror-driven presentation allowed it to appeal to fans of both the comedy and horror genres. It also appealed to witch fans, who assembled to watch the nine-episode series alongside the McU's core fanbase, ensuring that it became one of Disney Plus' biggest hits of last year and one of Marvel's biggest success stories in recent memory.
It has also received a ton of awards buzz, earning itself some prestigious nominations along the way.

Kathryn Hahn is still riding the wave of success following the highly successful release of her standalone MCU show, Agatha All Along. The series continues Agatha’s journey after the events of WandaVision and her imprisonment at the hands of the Scarlet Witch.
While we would love to say that Agatha has found redemption along the way, the show’s ending makes it clear that not even death can quench her thirst for more power. In the final moments, Agatha takes Billy Maximoff under her wing, leaving fans wondering what comes next for the character.
We know that Agatha lost her powers after the events of WandaVision, but by the end of her own show, she successfully regains them. However, there’s a catch—Agatha is currently dead and exists in ghost form. This raises the question: is she now more powerful than before, or has her strength diminished?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe might be family-friendly, but its source, aka the Marvel Comics, has never shied away from pushing boundaries when it comes to being brutal and raw. Over the many editions and iterations of some of our favorite comic book characters, Marvel Comics has crossed certain lines when it comes to their most powerful characters.

One of these most shocking examples is Fantastic Four: House of M (2005), which showcased such a brutal version of Magneto that the MCU would never dare to adapt now that Sir Ian McKellen is officially debuting in the MCU in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

Marvel Studios is apparently playing the prank of the century with the longest casting announcement in cinema history for "Avengers: Doomsday," revealing a bevy of performers one at a time in a special livestream over the course of several hours ... though one name in particular is causing many fans to scratch their heads. In addition to all the usual suspects, from legacy Avengers cast members like Chris Hemsworth to the A-list cast of the upcoming "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" to several members of "Thunderbolts," the addition of longtime character actor Kelsey Grammer came as a surprise to many. Not only will the "Frasier" star will apparently be joining the action, but he'll be doing so by reprising his role as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast from the original "X-Men" franchise.
And yet, this isn't even the first time Grammer will be appearing as such in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While...

Once upon a time, the sassiest diner in Brooklyn was home to two broke besties who literally proved that dreams don’t need deep pockets, just a lot of grit and a whole lot more humor. Yes, we’re talking about 2 Broke Girls, which wasn’t just a sitcom, it was a cultural feast of awkward moments, unapologetic one-liners, and a friendship so iconic that we all secretly wanted to join their chaotic cupcake hustle.
With Max’s sarcastic charm and Caroline’s glamorous optimism, the show served up more laughs than their cupcakes did for customers. Whether it was Earl’s timeless wit, Sophie’s outrageous outfits, or Han’s endless quest for respect, the cast truly became our offbeat, dysfunctional family.

But even after the diner closed its TV doors in 2017, these stars weren’t about to hang up their aprons.

This summer sees Marvel Studios‘ first massive superhero reboot attempt since relaunching “Spider-Man” in 2016 as they’ll be giving us a new retro-futuristic Multiverse version of Marvel’s first family, “The Fantastic Four.”
Paul Walter Hauser (“Black Bird”) is part of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” cast and is now making quite the sales pitch for the Matt Shakman-directed (“WandaVision”) pic while speaking with The Direct, suggesting that it’ll be “the Marvel movie of the year” (“Thunderbolts*” is coming out in May) along with comparing it to the likes of landmark MCU films “Black Panther” and “Guardians of The Galaxy.”

Spoilers for "Daredevil: Born Again" follow.
Episode 5 of Marvel Studios' "Daredevil: Born Again" is set on St. Patrick's Day; it opens with a quick-cut montage of New York City bustling with green spirit, set to a cover of "The Rocky Road to Dublin." The episode's March 25 premiere date missed the actual holiday by a week, but it still gives Marvel fans a lovely gift. The episode takes a break from Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) to focus only on Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), who doesn't need his Daredevil costume to fight crime.
A quick recap: Matt is at a bank, seeking a loan for his firm Murdock & McDuffie. He leaves empty-handed, but when he's not even a block down the road, an Irish bank robber named Devlin (Cillian O'Sullivan) and his crew break in, wielding colored masks and assault rifles. They're using the holiday as cover for their heist; on St.

Two weeks after having Wilson Fisk refer to “a man who dresses in a spider outfit” — akin to how Netflix’s Marvel shows would awkwardly refer to “the big green dude” and “the flag-waver” — Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again actually name-dropped a fellow MCU hero.
The revival-of-sort’s fifth episode (of Season 1’s nine) saw Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) making a mild-mannered trip to New York Mutual bank, to follow up on Murdock & McDuffie’s loan application.

This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 & 6.
Daredevil: Born Again just broke from convention and dropped two new episodes on Disney+. While previous live-action MCU series have had two episode premieres, including Daredevil: Born Again, and some, like Agatha All Along, aired two-episode finales, none have aired two episodes back to back in the middle of the run. The fifth episode hinted at a potential MCU team-up that nobody could have expected: Daredevil and Ms. Marvel.
Daredevil is no stranger to teaming up with other heroes, as Matt Murdock previously joined Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in The Defenders, and this season of Daredevil: Born Again has already shown Matt Murdock reuniting with Frank Castle / The Punisher. Fans even hope to see Daredevil and Spider-Man share the screen after their alter egos were seen together in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Matt Murdock even appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,...

Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon Davis can never seem to catch a break. The character was first introduced to audiences in Disney+’s hit series, WandaVision, where she went as “Mrs. Hart” thanks to the spell cast by Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen). Kindhearted and pleasant — albeit a little bit nosy — Sharon was the lovable next-door neighbor with a spring in her step and plenty of flowers in her garden. Audiences caught up with the character in last year’s spin-off series, Agatha All Along, when she joined the doomed coven of Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) as they walked the famed Witches’ Road. Unfortunately, Sharon’s stroll was cut short after she died during the very first trial that the coven faced in a creative move that told audiences just how high the stakes were.
Recently speaking with Collider’s Taylor Gates at PaleyFest, Rupp lamented over Sharon’s terrible luck when it comes to her neighbors.

We’re just four months away from a big moment for Marvel lovers, and I can’t wait to see how this one turns out. There’s something special brewing with the upcoming release of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps,’ a movie that’s set to bring Marvel’s first family back to the big screen.
I’ve been keeping an eye on this project since it was first announced, and it’s exciting to see how it’s coming together. This isn’t just another superhero flick—it’s the kickoff to Phase Six of the MCU, directed by Matt Shakman, who gave us ‘WandaVision.’ With a cast that’s already turning heads and a story that promises a unique twist, here’s what we know so far about ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps.’

Wanda will be back. Wanda won’t be back. The “whether Elizabeth Olsen will return as Scarlet Witch in the MCU” debate has been going on since her “death” in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness three years ago.
Although Kevin Feige teased her return a few months ago, saying, “Since then (Agatha), there have been a lot of questions about Wanda on fans’ minds… So all I can say is that we’re excited to find out when and how the Scarlet Witch might return.,” the actress have now confirmed the opposite.
In a recent interview, Olsen was asked if she’d be staying in London—where she just finished shooting Panic Carefully—to join the Avengers productions. Her answer was clear: “No, I’m back [in the States]. I just finished [Panic Carefully]. I’m moving on to filming a pilot for FX [called Seven Sisters].” This statement suggests that Scarlet...

Despite persistent rumors to the contrary, Elizabeth Olsen is now claiming that she will not return as Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, for Marvel Studios' next Avengers movies.
Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are set to shoot back-to-back (with a short break in-between) in the U.K. next month, but Olsen revealed that she will be back home in the U.S. filming a new project when cameras start rolling while speaking to THR about her new movie, The Assessment.
"I didn’t realize this until about six years ago, but because Marvel and its influence takes up so much physical time and space in the world, it’s really important for me to make choices outside of Marvel that reflect my own taste," Olsen told the site. "Your taste does create the artist that you are, and that wasn’t something I was thinking about when I first started working.

Before Elizabeth Olsen became the apple of Marvel Studios’ eye, she announced herself to the industry with a powerhouse performance in Sean Durkin’s critically acclaimed indie, Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011).
In 2014, Olsen was then recruited by two major franchises, the MonsterVerse via Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla and the Marvel Cinematic Universe via the Russo brothers’ Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The latter franchise, in particular, has since consumed most of her time and energy, racking up six movies and three Disney+ series as Wanda/Scarlet Witch, including the Emmy-winning WandaVision (2021) and the animated What If…? and 2025’s Marvel Zombies. However, she still managed to squeeze in some lauded independents, such as Taylor Sheridan’s Wind River (2017) and Ingrid Goes West (2017).

Elizabeth Olsen wanted to "push beyond" the edge in 'The Assessment'.The 36-year-old star leads the cast of the sci-fi thriller set in a future where prospective parents must pass a test to show they are capable of raising children and used the film's "absurd elements" to push herself to extremes.Elizabeth told Collider: "What my goal was, going into this, from an actor's perspective and not necessarily from embodying a character, was that I felt like there was an opportunity here, because of the absurd elements and the pressure-cooker feeling of the story, that I would be able to try and reach an edge and hopefully push beyond it, as an actor."I think I am a very controlling person and I make really clear choices and decisions, and I just am always trying to push what my edge is and what I can do on camera and what I feel comfortable doing.

Not all TV shows have to cross the multiple-season threshold to have a meaningful impact. Some of the best narratives showcase what exactly they can do in a limited series format, knowing that dragging out its premise beyond a single season will hurt the overall story. Even with a smaller pool of episodes, there's still the opportunity to have one in the lineup that just doesn't hit the mark.
These limited series make the most use of each episode, contributing to a larger, cohesive narrative that captivates viewers throughout. Not a single episode feels out of place and consistently delivers gripping storytelling and careful pacing, ensuring that these shows cement themselves in the audience's memory despite their brevity.

Joe Russo might have revealed a significant new clue about Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, which could change both films' perception among fans and critics alike. The expectations for the upcoming two Avengers movies are higher than ever, as the MCU perception is not as bulletproof as it felt during the final days of the Infinity Saga — particularly with the Russo brothers coming off The Electric State, a critical and financial disaster. Many fans are skeptical about Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars to match the level of box office and critical success that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame had. But it seems like Doomsday and Secret Wars are not so much looking to be the grand finales as the two previous films were, but more the start of something new.

The last we saw Elizabeth Olsen play Wanda was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and say what you will of the film, she absolutely killed her part. Seeing one of the most powerful superheroes turn “evil” just so she could have a shot at having a family was both terrifying and heartbreaking at the same time. And now, we are just waiting for Marvel Studios to bring our girl back because let’s be real, if there’s anyone who deserves a happy ending, it’s her.

The MCU has yet to close the book on Scarlett Witch; Elizabeth Olsen also hinted Wanda isn't dead. Olsen described the "dream version" of Wanda Maximoff's comeback.
Elizabeth Olsen wants to return to the MCU, but as a much older Scarlet Witch. Hinting at her comeback to The Playlist, she envisioned it would play out like a weird WandaVision episode, inspired by an iconic sketch comedy. The Scarlet Witch's return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe could have a surprising twist if Elizabeth Olsen gets her wish. Wanda Maximoff had a shocking villain turn after WandaVision, going on a murderous spree through the multiverse in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While she managed to realize the error in her actions by the end of the film, the Scarlet Witch's MCU journey was seemingly cut short when she died as Mount Wundagore came crashing down on her. Agatha All Along teased that Wanda could be back in future MCU movies, and Olsen has an idea.
Speaking to The Playlist, Elizabeth Olsen revealed that she pitched an idea for Wanda Maximoff's MCU return to happen 50 years later, with the Scarlet Witch having white hair. Olsen claims that it is her dream version of the character, with Wanda being "a creature" that the McU's heroes find in the future.

Fantasy is one of the most creative genres in fiction. From the supernatural to the post-apocalyptic, fantasy covers many subgenres that explore stories outside the bounds of reality. However, it has evolved significantly over the years, and while there are common genre tropes, plenty of new fantasy series break the mod.
Although fantasy was once most at home in the cinema, streaming television has breathed new life into the genre. Special effects technology has finally become practical enough that creators can bring to life entirely new worlds on the small screen, even on a TV budget. Since 2020, shows like The Legend of Vox Machina, House of the Dragon, and One Piece have brought fantasy to new heights and refined the genre for modern television audiences.

Marvel has likely never gotten as close to Prestige TV as it did with the Disney+ series WandaVision. The compelling emotional story, exceptional performances, and slow-burning twists and turns earned it a reputation that elevated the show above other popcorn superhero fare. Now the star of WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen, is joining a pilot for FX called Seven Sisters, which is being penned by Succession writer and producer Will Arbery, according to Deadline.
The story of Seven Sisters is one of a large, tight-knit family that begins to unravel when a sister (Olsen) starts communicating with a voice no one else can hear, forcing each of them to confront long-buried secrets. This project also reunites Olson with director Sean Durkin, whose award-winning feature directorial debut,Martha Marcy May Marlene, starred Olson in her movie debut. The multiverse is falling apart and the Marvel Cinematic Universe needs all of its heroes to step up now more than ever. Entire worlds will collide and Doctor Doom will attempt to seize everything amidst the chaos. It's an extremely dire situation, and The Avengers will need all the help they can take if they hope to save the day once again. That means bringing together every new sorcerer and superhero introduced from Phase 4 onwards.
With Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars on the horizon, audiences expect to see bigger team-ups than ever before. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to make it to the party as revealed by an iconic actor.
Yes, it seems that a big Marvel fan-favorite won't be around when their knowledge and expertise are needed the most, which only brings more questions than answers about their future.

Out of all the actors who have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Elizabeth Olsen's trajectory has been the most interesting to watch. First introduced as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron (not counting her post-credit scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Olsen didn't sign the traditional multi-picture deal to appear in a slew of MCU projects. The actress has stated in the past that whenever they wanted her back beyond her original contract, it was because they had more story to tell for Wanda. All told, Olsen has been in five MCU films and the miniseries WandaVision, but following the conclusion of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it seemed as if her time as the character was up, until now.

We haven't seen Wanda Maximoff since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, when the powerful former Avenger found some redemption for her villainous deeds by destroying every copy of the Darkhold and bringing a mountain down on top of herself.
A lot of fans were of the opinion that this "heel turn" didn't really feel earned, and that the character's switch to a full-on villain between the events of WandaVision and the Doctor Strange sequel didn't make complete sense. This is certainly debatable, but Elizabeth Olsen has shared similar sentiments herself.
In a recent interview, the actress was asked about potentially reprising the role in the MCU, and responded with the following.
“It's a character I love going back to when there's a way to use her well and I think I've been lucky when I started I was used well... and they kind of didn't know what to...

Elizabeth Olsen will lead the cast of a new FX drama series. Other notable Olsen movies and television shows include Wind River, Love & Death, Ingrid Goes West, and Liberal Arts, along with her numerous performances as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As per Deadline, Olsen is now starring in the FX drama series Seven Sisters, which has received a pilot order, and is helmed by The Iron Claw director Sean Durkin. For fans of the MCU, Elizabeth Olsen is best known for portraying Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch. She first appeared as the character in Captain America: The Winter Soldier back in 2014, meaning she has been playing the role for over a decade. Her most recent appearance was a voice role in What If…? The Avengers Assembled in 1602.
Although Scarlet Witch’s fate in the MCU remains uncertain—she is presumed dead at the moment. The rumors are loud that she will be back in one way or another, but at this point nothing has been confirmed.
The actress voiced the character for the upcoming Marvel Zombies mini-series, but that is hardly what fans are expecting from the character.
Recently, Olsen spoke with Collider’s Christina Radish while promoting The Assessment. During the interview, she shared her thoughts on playing Wanda and whether she might return to the role in the future.

In October 2022, it was announced that Vision Quest was in development, with Jac Schaeffer serving as head writer and executive producer. By May 2023, Eileen Shim had joined the series as a writer as well.
However, Schaeffer shifted her focus to Agatha All Along, and now Vision Quest is being led by Terry Matalas. With Matalas at the helm, this marks Marvel’s first new live-action TV series in nearly two years, signaling a shift in their approach to TV production on Disney+.
Previously, Marvel followed a movie-style model with directors and creative leaders in charge, but starting in 2022, they switched to a more traditional TV model, with longer development timelines and writer-producers as showrunners.

The review embargo for Daredevil: Born Again lifted last night just as the first two episodes hit Disney+. A late embargo isn't always a great sign, but the full season has received a mostly positive response from critics.
We realize a lot (most?) of you don't pay much attention to reviews, but it is interesting to see how the overall verdict on Born Again compares to the Netflix show and its Disney+ predecessors.
Based on 62 reviews, Born Again is currently "Certified Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes with an impressive 84%. This puts the adult-orientated revival above the second season of the original Netflix series (81%), but below seasons 1 (99%) and 2 (97%).
As for the previous Disney+ MCU shows, Born Again is higher than the only "Rotten" project in the bunch (Secret Invasion), Echo (70%) and Loki season 2, and tied with Agatha All Along.

WandaVisionis arguably the best MCU TV series on Disney+. The show connects the superhero genre with sitcoms to create the ultimate grieving metaphor. It also uses characters people already know and love from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and sets others up for new and exciting projects, such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Agatha All Along. As Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) accesses her full powers, she creates the fictional town of Westview to live an idyllic sitcom life with her late lover, Vision (Paul Bettany).
WandaVision makes the audience laugh, cry, and follow Wanda's pain throughout a perfectly balanced series that shows what the MCU could become if they delved deeper into the psyche of their characters. According to THR, Walt Disney Animation Studios has pulled the plug on the animated series based on The Princess and the Frog. The series would have focused on Princess Tiana and was set to feature Anika Noni Rose reprising her role from the 2009 animated movie. It was first announced in December 2020, so this one has been in the works for quite some time.
The report states that “despite best efforts, including several changes to the creative team, Tiana ultimately could not get to where it needed to be given production costs.” Unfortunately, a Disney spokesperson confirmed that there would be some layoffs at the Vancouver studio working on the project. Another unannounced feature-length project being developed for Disney+ was also scrapped.

Hauling in a jaw-dropping 2.8 billion dollars, Marvel's superhero blockbuster Avengers: Endgame is one of the highest-grossing films of all time and will likely remain in the top ten for decades to come. Beyond this staggering commercial success, the film is also a huge hit with critics and fans alike, posting an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of 94% and a Popcornmeter score of 90%. However, in the years since the Marvel Cinematic Universe's historic success, critics have soured on the franchise, and box offices have floundered.
Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of eleven years of storytelling across over a dozen films — the definitive end to a chapter, as its name suggests. As such, there was little chance of Marvel's next entries echoing its level of success. However, the studio has been fumbling to find any footing. Despite their efforts, they can't build up momentum for their next Phase, largely due to some key missteps.
