tasteless propaganda

If would be rating 0 I would put it. Movie for people that don't have any taste and sense of humour. Made with money of Russians tax payers make it great monument of Putin propaganda. And Crimea is Ukraine!

Shame for Russian aggressors!

I wonder if the Nazis filmed such comedies during their occupation of the Crimea in WWII.

Awful

Why do they call this a movie? It's a pathetic attempt at pretending to create something remotely resembling a movie. If someone asks you for the definition of trash, show them this movie.

A shameless piece of propaganda for every true Russian to cherish and enjoy!

This "film" is the greatest recent example of public funds embezzlement in the name of Art. Having cost a fortune this piece of cinematography is only as good as a pearl clam without any pearl in it. Colourful and tongue-in-cheek from the outside, it is the austere and in-your-face piece of state propaganda. One can only sit and wonder wonder with sheer horror how far down the great Russian cinematography has gone from the times of "Cranes are Flying" and even the beloved "Adventures of Shurik". Is this the top costing piece of junk in the history of cinema? A resounding yes.

Racism, misogyny, body shaming...

Garbage! Absolute garbage! Absolute utter garbage!!! I am glad I dont live in Russia hence I am not white-skinned, blue-eyed Russian. Coz if you watch this movie that's what you gotta be to live in Russia comfortably.

(they needed 150 characters to post. There you go.)

Russian propaganda to whitewash its occupation

The writer, Margarita Simonyan is a well known Russian propagandist. This film is financed by the Russian state and solely meant to normalize its lies about Ukraine.

It should not be regarded a movie at all.

Its Hitlers "Mein Kampf" within some badly played "romance".

Save your brain cells.

Since I have to write 300 characters more about Russian propaganda, ignore the rest. All that matters is said. In addition the acting is static Russian fake emotions in a hilariously bad story.

The main character discussing his own family's violent deportation under Stalin has nothing more to say than, "They were sent away -- that means it had to be." At other points in the film, he has approving words for Stalin. That pretty much sums up the world view that Ruzzians want to impose on its audience. So don't let them.
