        Entertaining

Edward Thompson breaks into a jewelry store safe. He hands the loot over to nightclub owner/crime boss Maceo Bruce Sheffield . Then he breaks into Sheffield's safe for the loot and frames gambler Monte Hawley. With the stakes rising to the love of Jeni Le Gon and a murder rap, can Hawley prove his innocence?

There are some decent performances in this race film that cover up the cheap sets and mediocre dialogue. With movies like these, the specialty numbers are always a big attraction. Not only does Miss Le Gon sing and dance very nicely, tapping up a storm, but there's also songwriter Shelton Brooke performing one of his number, and stalwart F. E. Miller shows up. Arthur Dreifuss was never a particularly strong director, but he manages to get an hour's worth of entertainment out of the resources available to him.
